Re: Same sex marriage debate...

Earl,
You call their arguments childish, and 10 seconds later . . . you call them names.
Funny indeed.
Actually, looking back at this thread your go-to argument is to call people that hold opposing views to yours, "morons".
So left.

Re: Same sex marriage debate...

Look at the discrimination Milo Yiannopolous is copping in Australia. Tolerant society? Everyone is entitled to an opinion? I think not. Everyone IS entitled to an opinion. Other people are just as entitled and allowed to yell about it in the street. This is a really interesting point. Protestors a...

Re: Same sex marriage debate...

Same sex marriage advocates should front a Muslim Bakery and ask them to bake a cake for them. When they say "no", as they will, take them to court. Now that I would really like to see. Yeah Col, I'd pay to see that too ! cochise, you make some very logical points in your recent posts. But because ...

:brick: Yeah but stolen one's count as double.. Well done guys, time to stop drinking and go to bed. Unless you are characterising Kangaroos fans as car thiefs? Good call, OMT. I noticed that myself. Racism is alive and well. Hypocritical and two-faced. You cant say a word about the gays, but step r...

Re: Same sex marriage debate...

All those gays who were bashed and pushed over cliffs in the 1970s and 1980s around Sydney I am sure would have much preferred just a bleeding lip instead. It is Abbott's attitude that assists in discrimination that results in more extreme reactions like those murders. That is also why the ripple e...

Re: Same sex marriage debate...

Yossarian, I call the gays un natural based on mother nature's decision to give us sex organs designed for a specific purpose.( and being straight or gay is pretty much a sex issue ) It is natural for a vagina to accept a penis. It is against nature to stick your penis in a donkey, chicken, or a man...

Re: Same sex marriage debate...

Guess what mate, there are folks that simply don't agree with it, for whatever reason they choose. They might have had a bad encounter with a gay man. They might simply be disgusted at the thought of what gay men do to each other. The concept of felching might make them wanna throw up. They might s...

Re: Same sex marriage debate...

Byron bay fan, the biggest problem I have with the "yes/left" is how they preach their desire for understanding and empathy . . . . but only when it suits their agenda. They want to be seen as pushing for fairness and equality without discrimination, but God help you when you have a differing opinio...

No one has considered the People's Front of Judea or the Judean's People's Front's position...splitters.. Or Stan's right to be called a Woman.. . . . and the eventual irony of it "gestating in a box" Nice to have a laugh Geo, in these dark times when men go around saying NI to old ladies. And besi...

Re: Same sex marriage debate...

Tiger Dave, By "fabric of marriage" I meant a man and a woman. Probably a poor term to use. And for your "slippery slope" tangent, ironically you were probably typing your answer when Abraham posted a well thought out and independent viewpoint on that particular topic. Have a little read. In the art...

Re: Same sex marriage debate...

For so many years, the homosexual community kicked and screamed about wanting their differences recognised and accepted. They wanted society to respect them for being different. Now, they are kicking and screaming to be recognised the same as mainstream society. They demand tolerance from us, yet do...

Re: Benji Marshall - Official..

Not having a go at Benji......... BUT, a knock-on at dummy-half, an important bomb landing in goal, and barely ran. Brooks would be crucified if he did that. Not defending Benji . . . but put in a great short kick for the donkeys first try. Pulled off some big defensive hits, and his spiral bombs a...

Re: who is the 2018 signing you are looking forward to watch.

I'm thinking outside the box . . . . we know how good Mats, Packer and Tui, etc are or can be. I'm itching to see how Gamble goes. He's relatively unknown, but if he goes well, all of a sudden a lot of the jigsaw drops into place.

Well, I'm disappointed in this thread now.
For a moment, I thought we signed one of the sisters. Either of them would be a beast in our pack.
Or outside of it, for that matter . . . . .

Re: The Benji 2018 Poll

Marshall won't be putting pressure on Brooks. Gamble will be putting pressure on Marshall and Reynolds. This. So much this. Yes, there is a big difference between QLD cup and NRL . . . . but I really see Gamble as a genuine 7 in our NRL team much sooner than later. Tyson Gamble just got dealt pocke...

Just a pedantic side-note . . . . the short version of Eisenhuth is " Eiso". Has been so for 40 years that I know of. Anyone living within the 2141/ 2143 postcodes over the years would probably have gone to school with, or worked with an Eiso. Lovely people and a long lineage of football talent. The...

Re: Brooks is no good

My biggest problem with Brooks is he can't seem to get a repeat set. I can't remember the last time he has kicked and we've trapped someone in goal. Round 21 v Gold Coast Titans.. when was the last one before that ? Rd 20 V Manly.. Allright . . . . so apart from health, sanitation and the aqueduct,...
