Re: BENJI IMPRESSES TIGERS

Benji is there for when Reynolds and Brooks get selected for SOO.

About as plausible as any other option this time of year. :D

My 2c no6 back then. Now either 6,7 or 9 in parts.

Re: Team-first attitude driving Packer

Twal is still a pup and has a lot of development to still achieve....these guys dont crack firsts possessing all the skills Agree, Twal is a fine prospect but he is still young and has a lot to learn. Apparently he is quite capable of offloading and I am sure Cleary is aware of this. Probably wants...

I think Twal is more like Woods. Big motor, big minutes, big stats. Neither is dynamic or explosive, Twal would miss less tackles.
I agree, only the offloads are missing. I haven't seen it in his game but I think I read here he does possess the ability.

Re: The best and worst defensive centres in the NRL

I don't think this is a correct reflection. Defensive issues Imo start closer to the ruck. One on one misses are probably a better stat for wingers and centres. Easier to isolate a winger and centre if the rest of line isn't doing their job.

Me too, I'm hoping he has a great year, if not it's time to look for an alternative.

Re: MERRY CHRISTMAS

Hope everyone had a great Christmas! Enjoy and be safe. It was great when the kids were little, Christmas was more Christmassy. I'm at the stage where they are grown and all out today, can't wait for grandkids. But on the plus I get to eat and drink left overs while watching the cricket, not having ...

Re: Funding for Centre of Excellence

Our club will always be on a hiding to nothing as we are not influential enough. We don't have the sway nor do we have the political know how to influence the decision makers.

Re: Manly Salary cap issue

I can’t see them ever punishing the teams or the players. 1) would you really want your cronks, Tedesco’s or whoever quitting and playing for a rival code after you slapped a suspension on them? I’m sure Rugby Union would be frothing at the mouth for that opportunity. 2) would you as NRL CEO really...

Re: Brooks keen to link with Reynolds..

As long as we all agree that Brooks is at the last chance saloon all is good Last year we can talk potential , he has to find his consistent best more often than not or he has to hit the road Just feels like we have all said this exact same thing last season i would agree, the club/Ivan/fans(those ...

Re: MOSES,CLEARY & FARAH - join forces for Lebanon

He may get the attention because of activity on the field and he is not an ugly or beaten up guy like Gallen, Fafita, Kasiano, Mannah - the ladies around me swoon over him BBF I know you’ve really got a soft spot for Moses but to be honest - I don’t get it. Yes at best he is brilliant, but that ‘be...

Re: Brooks keen to link with Reynolds..

I hope he improves, he certainly started to show signs and played some good footy later part of the season.

I forget sometimes that he is only very young and hasn't really had any luck when it comes to coaches.

Re: Manly Salary cap issue

Also how exactly do you assess that a player is living off 150k and not 100k ... the difference in lifestyle would be minimal... it’s easy to poke at the NRL... but I think it would be impossible to do much without some sort of investigative lead from a tip off ... sounds like they are pretty good ...

Awesome, our first 4 games 3:30am, 6:30am, 6:50am and 2am.

I thought with the kids all grown up I wouldn't have to get up early for sport anymore. Guess I was wrong.

At least we won't have to deal with the heat problem in the early rounds.

Re: NRL agrees to review third-party agreements in a bid to end salary cap rorting

My wife nagged about the amount of stuff (she called it) in the garage, so I did a review of the contents the other weekend and decided I had some space to fill so I went to Bunnings.

Greenberg doing a review of the salary cap my result in a similar outcome.
