Re: Corey Thompson

Have we cancelled the Tuesday afternoon team announcement in 2018? Seems that way with all this rubbish about a trial side being the finished and final product. Ivan dropping tui to NSW cup and playing Corey Thompson at fullback shows that tui’s fullback spot is not locked in at all. David Nofoalum...

What is Brooks best position

I'm asking outside of the Brooks thread. Because it may get dwarfed there. But what is Luke Brooks best position? Five Eight, Fullback, Halfback, Hooker or something else. So Brooks's strengths are: He has a good running speed. He can pass. high try assists and tries. His weaknesses: Bad 5th tackle ...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

I don’t have a problem with successful clubs being successful. I take issue with some clubs flaunting the rules and not others. Have a salary cap that each team must stick to that is covered by the NRL. Have unlimited TPA’s a player can receive regardless of who organises it. Each player must be pa...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

Teo has nothing on.moses or moltzen Why mention Moses and Moltzen together? For all Moltzen did wrong, we dropped him for Robert Lui (which was a good decision till he bashed his wife..*sigh*) Then he came back to us for a season or two and I think we dropped him fast. He went from talent to nothin...

Re: Moses Suli

Hmm, you'd like to think as a new employee so to speak that you would be looking to set a good example for the new boss, but in Suli's case you have to wonder what's going through the bloke's head to behave this way. Exactly what I thought. I could have more understanding if over the course of a se...

Re: Wests Tigers name five co-captains

The way I see it, if it works, why the hell not? I'm sure (or hope) things will be clearer 6-8 rounds into the comp, and someone will stand up. If we score more points than the other team on a regular basis, then it'll be a sound decision. Couldn't be any worse than the last couple of years! Intere...

I hope Suli fails. That is the best way for him to learn a lesson. Go and get a job paying 50k per year. Doubt he has any skills fitting a job that pays that much. Boy did we dodge a bullet there....Uum come on Woodsy take him under your wing and weave the harmonious culture magic you displayed at ...

Re: Worth the weight? Jack Bird’s pledge to Broncos

Jack Bird is a breed of high maintenance, over promise under performing footballer, who will do something brilliant every now and then, and ride on that small brilliance for many weeks and months....I am glad we don't have any "Jack Bird" types in our club When he plays he often has energy and can ...

Isn't the Mumps, Chicken Pops!!

I get the feeling that the Roosters are going to struggle.

Re: Family driving Fonua in his NRL return

Nofo and Fonua wing Marsters and Milne centres. Would be my pick of the bunch. Just read this. McIntyre showing the right attitude and it seems we may be breeding it. https://www.weststigers.com.au/news/2017/11/20/mcintyre-gearing-up-for-the-long-haul/ But I would pick exactly what you are saying. ...

Re: Dib lifts lid on moses, tedesco and woods

Dib has been punted. Only current board member to retain position is Steve Mortimer. Who else saw Mortimer add a stack of Grit to our team when he was personal trainer. I think he came in 2011, either way he seemed to do a stack to build the young guys up. Not sure if he still had the enthusiasm an...

Who left the club end of 2013, went to the cowboys and then ends up back in Sydney what last year? Was that when he popped up again. I’m keen to crack this.

Re: Auburn Warriors to fold due to failed Mehajer sponsorship

We need a stronger ICAC to investigate matters like what has been reported.
Salim is not the only Councillor on Auburn council to act in this way, he just promoted himself which lead to people asking questions. Others do the same but kept their heads down.

Re: Wests Tigers name five co-captains

5 Co-Captains? That's just embarrassing! How ? Or Why ? Its not like Captains make tjat many decisions in a club but tjey have a lot of jobs. Ive never understood 1 captain in a professional club 5 is awesome. If we had 4 or 6 it would be embarrassing, likewise 8 or god help us 14. You have a good ...
