Re: Lovett finds a new home

What of Benji returinging to the halves? IMHO if Reynolds or Brooks don't earn and keep their spot I see no reason why Benji should be stopped. Then again, I see Reynolds shifting to Center... But hey everyone disagrees with me and thinks he should go Hooker like Peter Wallace and Issac Luke....I to...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

The only reason Kevie boy is still at the club is he could not get a better offer.. the club has been shopping him around for ages ,this puts in perspective where he rates in the pecking order. His contract was up - why did they need to shop him. "We are not renewing your contract" is all the Tiger...

Re: Nathan Cleary

If the Roosters don't win a premiership in the next 2 years Robinson will be gone, and they will look at Ivan and Nathan. So the fact that Ivan is contracted until the end of 2020 to the Wests Tigers means not much if other Clubs are just going tocircle in the hope of getting both If Cleary was to ...

Re: Nathan Cleary

How long is Ivan signed??? for maybe should extend him a couple of years to stop other clubs Ie Rorters ( they'll be due for a new coach)and a half back in 2 years. Ivan Cleary is contracted to the WESTS Tigers until the END of the 2020 NRL season ....2018,2019 and 2020.. Unless we punt him or he a...

Re: Wests Tigers strengthen position in Macarthur region..

Let me say as a former Balmain supporter, this doesn't annoy me at all. Magpies, Tigers, Balmain, Wests, all the same thing now. Call them the Camden Rams if you please. That's my point jirskyr I couldn't care less either which is why I'm curious if anyone in the Macarthur region does, just seems a...

Re: Nathan Cleary

Not sure what Ivans relationship with Gould is really like. After the way Gould made his sacking a public affair, not sure he would be so supportive of Goud trying to tie up the services of his son long-term. Nathan appears to have a great relationship with his father, and the actions of the great ...

Do you think the current plan to rename ourselves "the Balmain Poodles?" is a good idea?

Ok Seriously... could the Magpies be restarted in Perth?

Re: Nathan Cleary

Strange isn't it. Every commentator can recognise here that Penrith brought Maloney in to mentor Cleary. West Tigers instead, fired Benji (ok not the best mentor for a halfback) and kept three inexperienced players playing together with only Farah to lead them. then I remember we did get a good half...

Re: Same sex marriage debate...

Warringah 75% in favour. What's it going to be Tony? Listen to the people you represent or do your personal beliefs come first? On that note, the seats that voted no overwhelmingly are labour heartland but probably have many socially conservative people living there. Interesting times ahead. Might ...

Re: AN EMOTIONAL Benji Marshall has opened up on his rollercoaster rugby league career & the return “home” to Wests Tig

Benji is exactly who we need. We tried this bizarre experiment of having 2 rookie but talented halves without a mentor or someone to guide their style. Brooks played well under Marshall. Clearly the younger players looked up to Farah and Benji. Now yes both of these players did niggle a little later...

I'm very confident the Yes vote will win easily. I'm less confident that parliament will handle things well.
With the recent confusion, I reckon that they will get the country wrong!

Re: Rank the Coaches

Here is the kicker. How hopeless is David Kidwell! You're given New Zealand. You have a very decent side and this is your coaching resume for a fulltime first grade job. In fact if you do really well the Warriors may just hire you. and nothing. NZ is loosing to teams way down the pecking order then ...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

Noffa would be a disaster at the back. Cant defuse bombs, cant tackle. Hed run the ball back hard but that would be it. Agreed. I think Lolohea will work out well for us. Other then him I really don't see another NR1 and even Lolohea is a halfway between 1 and 5/8. Yes, Marshall, Kev, MWZ, etc can ...

Re: Rank the Coaches

As I wrote the below I thought. Where would Tim Sheens be in this list? Probably below 10.... However I think he was probably the League's best playmaking idea coach. The set plays he came up with were extraordinary. His coaching had too many gaps, he got too many basic things wrong.... But his play...

This ones interesting, if it means what I think it means: H.J.R. 40: On February 28, Trump signed a bill that repeals an Obama-era rule that prohibited the mentally disabled from being able to purchase firearms. Obama signed the executive action, which mandated that the Social Security Administrati...

I remember when Benji first came down. I was up the central coast walking on the beach. I am not kidding, every kid on that beach was doing the Benji sidestep. This happened everywhere. Footballers are role models. No doubt. That's called Idolising Col.. Don't matter what it is called. You see an I...

Re: America - Gun Control

Funny thing is in places where the the anti-competition have been repealed at the state level, the heath industry has been conspicuous in their lack of activity. I always thought lifting the state lines rule would be a major improvement for the industry, but like I said it just has not happened. Bu...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

On the field Reynolds is a tool .... Then take away his enthusiasm he's an average player at best . As for his charity work off the field that's great ! Off the field I couldn't care if players choose to bubble at urinals , hump pets or drink breezers on rooftops. It's about winning games on the fi...
