Re: NRL Announcement

Why isn't this anywhere else? Not worthy news? Anyway we can get out of this Farah post NRL gig? I honestly wouldn't want him representing the club anyway. He always seemed selfish to me. Would rather Chris Lawrence. How would we get out of it? In the contract their would have to be something that ...

What a low life organization the NRL has become.

Agreed. Absolutely clueless the way things are handled. They sprite about how even the comp is, yet the Storm and Roosters have been in 15 of the last 20 grand finals. How the hell is that a fair comp?? What a joke.

Re: NRL Announcement

Wonder what Maguire is thinking...... He walks in to Pascoe’s office stating he’s got Jennings willing to come to Tigers. Pascoe replies that it can’t happen because we’ve been hammered for being over the cap. Maguire looks across the Tigers roster, looks at sharks, Storm, roosters, Broncos rosters...

Re: NRL Announcement

Robbie Farah promised a job in 2021. Which doesn't effect our cap for the next two years.. Cameron Smith and Jonathon Thurston get a Testimonial match where they rake in 100k+ each for one game that's excluded from the cap. How the hell can the NRL be so incompetently stupid? Wests should fight any ...

Re: NRL Announcement

Amateurish is all I can say. Should of known better and sorted this out years ago.

On the other hand I agree with many people here. The NRL is a joke. Farah hasn't even retired so how can we get punished for something we havnt done yet??

Both his brothers are Eels.
Wouldn’t be surprised if he ended up there.
Maybe but they have plenty of backs. Front rowers is what the Eels need so I'm not sure they will.

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

 I like Corey....I think that sometimes we get size mixed up with ability....You don't have to be tall to be a good NRL player in any position....Mister Reliable is Mister Thompson.... :sign: I like the fact that he's tall. Why isn't nofos position not put under scrutiny? His defence has impro...

Why would move from the wing at the bunnies to the wing here if inglis moves to fullback? Don't get why he would.

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

If Musgrove is removed, a player who is off-contract and would go okay would be Siosaia Vave - would not cost much but will still provide good impact and experience. Cameron King is another I would grab on a 2nd tier contract as backup to Robbie and Liddle. I just dont see where we will get the cen...

Re: First profit for the club

Not sure I understand your point Kiwitiger. Pascoe was quoted saying: "We had about $2 million worth of commercial growth, but more than $1 million was invested back into the club." Pascoe is saying that they reinvested $1m, not that they are sitting on it. It would be interesting to know how they ...

He's on no ones contract. I believe that if he is found guilty we can pull the contract. That leaves him with nothing. Stupid boy brought it on himself.

Re: Wests Tigers head to Western Sydney Stadium

This is SO dumb. OK stadiums are being rebuilt. I get it, limited spaces to play. So stuff it and move the games to Balmain or Ctown. We need a plan to expand our fan base and I think South West Sydney is the way to go for the Tigers. Yes there is Cronulla and St George but they are not real westie...

Re: Zane Musgrove

Agree, the key is to be the club that can turn them around. The Roosters and what they managed with Zane Tetevano is the perfect example. Bingo. We have him. He is on our books and we have signed a contract. We should discipline him and see if he can change his ways. There is a difference between a...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

Has anyone got anything more on whether or not we are chasing Robert Jennings from Souths. Still unsigned and unwanted by Wayne Bennett .. the clubs top try scorer for last season (2018) would be a bonus to any NRL club. I hope we are atleast in the market for him .. we need a finisher out wide. Ro...
