Yes they have over 10mill cap space, so well are their books handled.
Tedesco, Cronk, Crichton, Cordner, Friend, Keary = $4.8m.

JWH, Mitchell, Tupou, Aubusson, Ferguson, Taukeiaho, Napa = $2.15m.

13 players = $6.95m.

15 rookies = $1.7m.

28 players = $8.65m.

2 spots left and $750k.

Roosters salary cap revelation

Soooo, I realised how the Roosters are within the salary cap. They have at least 10 players in their top 30 who haven't made their debuts yet. I assume they are all on min wage contracts. They have no depth at all. If they get any injuries this year they're screwed. Part of their top 30 includes: Be...

Re: Cleary: "Tonight was a great reference point for us"

Unless something dramatic happens I'm guessing B Sironen will be #29 Mikaele or McKintyre both being looked at as well for spot 29.. Not buying this article if it was the 1st one maybe but not the last hit out before the season starts..what's next it's not the results that are important it's the pr...

Re: Trial Match v Cronulla Sharks *LIVE Thread

IT'S ONLY A TRIAL GAME!!!! IT DOESN"T MEAN ANYTHING!!!

2016 trial game: Wests Tigers draw with Sharks. Sharks win the Grand Final. Tigers 9th.
2017 trial game: Tigers beat the Cowboys. Cowboys make the Grand final. Tigers 15th.

It doesn't mean anything.

The good, the decent and the bad

An extended 3, 2, 1 for the trial with some thoughts from tonight. The Good: Robbie Rochow: Big minutes. Good defence. High Workrate. Corey Thompson: Really nice step. Decent speed. Some really good runs. Scored a try. Josh Aloiai: Destructive. Long minutes. The Decent: Kevin Naiqama: Very solid. N...

Thompson has really impressed tonight and last week. Can't see Lolohea making the team at all this season if this trend continues

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

So if Brooks bombs this season and Cleary jr decides to stay at the Panthers, who do we sign?

I think we should be looking at some of the young, up and coming talent. There aren't many established halfbacks that I'd want.

Maybe, Kyle Flanagan? Or, would we just let Gamble have first shot?

Silas Redd

Love a story like this. American ex-NFL player trying to make it in the NRL. Seems to have a good head on his shoulders as well. Hope he makes it, would make a great story and hopefully start a new trend of overseas players playing in the NRL. Ex-NFL player Redd touches down for Jets We have a touch...

Dropped Lolohea faces fullback challenge

Wests Tigers fullback Tui Lolohea admits coach Ivan Cleary has told him he has "things to work on" in a reserve grade trial for the Magpies this weekend as club-mate Corey Thompson assumes the No.1 jersey for the top squad against Canterbury. Former Bulldogs winger Thompson is back in the country af...
