Re: Basket Cases

Well, when it rains, it pours I guess... Allegations of racism at Bulldogs The Bulldogs election is getting dirtier and dirtier, with allegations of racism against several candidates now being bandied about. With a heavy Lebanese population in their members base, the allegations have the potential t...

Fonua to lean on experience in NRL return

When you first look at Mahe Fonua or start watching highlights on YouTube, you don’t necessarily think of experience being his greatest attribute. Bullocking runs and bruising defence? Maybe. Try-scoring prowess and skilful finishing? Sure. Charisma and hilarious try-scoring celebrations? Perhaps. S...

Re: Tigers interested in RTS

If we sign RTS we could be a solid top 8 team. We can't keep Tui at fullback when RTS is available. Besides, Tui is a very reliable center.

Imagine:
1. RTS
2. Nofoaluma
3. Tui
4. Suli
5. Fonua

That's a solid backline. Maybe add another winger.

I didn't think Packer was smarter than Woods but, there you go, the evidence is staring me right in the face. Even more excited for next season now.

A halves combination of Brooks and Reynolds is greater than a halves combo of Brooks and Moses.
Worse halves combos than Brooks-Reynolds:

Foran-Frawley(Bulldogs), Austin-Sezer(Raiders), Green-Johnson(Warriors), Moylan-Townsend(Sharks). So, I have 4 teams with worse halves combos than us.

It's so nice to not see the Tigers getting these sort of headlines now. It's amazing what happens when you have a strong leader at the club.

Give Benji the #6 jumper and put the grub at #9
Let's stick with the plan for the moment. We can make changes as needed when the season starts.

NextGen: Connelly Lemuelu

Connelly Lemuelu has certainly come a long way in the last 18 months. From kicking the winning field goal in the 2016 GIO Schoolboys Cup Final for Keebra Park, to playing in Wests Tigers Holden Cup side in 2017 to training alongside his childhood idols with the full-time squad in 2018, it's certainl...

Re: The Contenders: Lock

I know the modern trend is to have props interchangeable with locks, but if Taylor is a consideration for lock, why not Rowdy? He's got the ball skills (gone well at 5/8 for us in the past) and the footwork. Because Taylor is extremely good at defending in the middle and is a better ball player tha...

Re: The Contenders: Hooker

I have our order of preference for hooker as: 1. Liddle, 2. Mcilwrick, 3. Taylor, 4. Marshall, 5. Godinet. Looking above though, it seems that Liddle was only playing for an average of about 40 minutes. I can only imaging Taylor going 80 minutes. Mcilwrick maybe if he really really trains hard, but...

Re: Reynolds: "Nobody thinks they're better than anyone here"

Having just invested in McQueen,a similiar sort of player to Lawrence but better,I think Lawrence wont make the 17. Hes gotta leapfrog ET/McQueen/Else and Aloise...and IF theyre all fit cant I see it happening tbh Just my opinion.... I've seen a lot of people butcher Aloiai's name, but this one tak...
