Re: NRL Confirms 'Brain Bunker' for 2019

Have to play NRL games on a golf course soon as there’s that many friggin bunkers! LOL at times there was so much sand at Campbelltown , you thought you might be able to dig up some pippis I’m picturing a cartoon: Commentator says, “let’s cross to the NRL Brain Bunker.” Next shot is of Todd Greenbe...

Re: Campbelltown

Flew over it a few weeks back. They must be returfing or some sort of ground maintenance was going on, the field was light brown. Are resurfacing the field. Was at the athletics track next door for carols a couple of weeks ago. Carols 2 weeks ago? What carols get sung in November or was it a rehear...

Re: NRL Announcement

Rumours normally have more to it than you have led on....so what’s the story you have heard? All I heard was exactly what I posted with the addition that it was nothing to do with Wests owning the Tigers. I’m not trying to start rumours, just trying to find out if what I heard was true. Seems like ...

It’s all about respect. Both ways. Respectful relationships last. Non respectful relationships don’t. Respect for each other is so important. If you think and act respectfully to each other - all will be good

NRL Announcement

I’m not sure of the validity of this but I’ve heard a fairly solid rumour that NRL is about to make an announcement next week involving Wests Tigers. I have no idea of content or context - or whether it in fact had any legs. Just started this thread to ask if anyone in the know has heard anything wo...

Re: Wests Tigers head to Western Sydney Stadium

What am I missing? It seems quite obvious to me that our management and governance see our future in the inner west - hence the COE at Concord. I don’t disagree with the idea that the south west has huge junior development potential but it seems that is not in our plans. Am I wrong?

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

I heard today the Alex Johnson rumour is pretty strong Hooray, a signing for all the complainers. They'll find something new to complain about no doubt After 7 years of not making the finals some level of complaining is warranted. Anyone who is satisfied with what's been dished up since 2012 is ver...

Re: Cricket Season Thread

It comes back to building blocks....Grade cricket, state cricket than Australian cricket. A few years ago a young kid playing grade would come against Australian reps in a few grade games, a shield player would play regularly against Australian rep players plus overseas imports. Now when they are no...

Re: Forget about damage to rugby league – what about damage to women?

Look at it through the context of Hayne's life. No father, maybe bad self image due to being a half caste that was stigmatised in that era as his mum states, were there any good role models for him? We know that some of those housing commission estates are far out. His schoolmates said that he was ...
