I lived in PNG for many years. This is not unusual or surprising. Take note NRL - expansion to the Pacific Islands will need extremely thorough governance

Re: How do we fit em all in

One thing that's glaringly obvious no matter what combination we go with in the backline. No speed The Cowboys and Sharks have gone alright over the last few years without really any more speed in their backlines. The Dragons made the 8 with an even slower backline than ours last year too. And Miln...

Re: Nathan Cleary

People talk of an ‘agenda’ against the Tigers. What agenda? All I see is that we have such a large fan base so controversy against us will spike a lot of interest. Is that it or is there more?

Re: Who wins the wooden spoon in 2018?

I went the Raiders. Ricky usually guides a club towards the bottom of the table during his tenure. Honestly, it could almost be any club given a couple of key injuries. Manly rely on a couple of very good players, the titans are on par with us around a lack of superstars and the dogs have not impro...

Re: Corey Thompson

I said a while ago that I couldn’t understand that no one was rating this bloke. Very good footballer imo and the fact that he is pushing for at top 17 spot is not surprising to me.

Re: Fitness

Let’s hope we hit the ground running. With the difficult early draw a 0-5 result will undo all the good preseason work. I’m hoping the preseason focus and intensity leads to us shocking a couple of the more fancied teams - playing the Tigers is no longer a stroll in the park!

Re: Moses Suli

The worst part of this is the young man suffers no real consequence for his lack of discipline. Another club signs him up on a similar contract and he can go back to sleeping in the car while his team mates train. I just do not understand how a young man on over $400k a year behaves in this way? He...

Re: Moses Suli

I applaud Cleary and the club for releasing him no matter how much talent he has.If reports of his attitude and soaring weight is true then he is exactly the sort of player we DONT need or want at the club. The club is far more important than any player and Cleary definately seems to be building th...

Re: Tigers interested in RTS

For the record,Jason Taylor inherited a pig of a roster,a control freak as captain, and a totally dysfunctional board....and still got us into 9th place in 2016. I'm not here to defend him by any means, but we need some perspective Best Jason Taylor post I’ve read. I’m not a defender either but jeez ...

Re: McQueen on track for Tigers trial return

I disagree with the lot of you. Except yes at Souths McQueen was put into space more. At the Titans he became a worker. A leader in defence leading the line and lots of clean up work. One of the games that is high on my memory was the golden point game against the sharks in 2016. Titans drew that g...

Re: Who's our Captain for 2018 ?

The best man for the job should be Captain irrespective of how long he’s been at the club. Taylor, Lawrence, Packer, Reynolds- all viable options imo.
