Haha didn't even have the cojones to front the players.

What a dog. Hope whatever the motivation is, that it is worth it.
Maybe he was told in no uncertain terms to go nowhere near the players. Probably already cleared the desk out.

Re: 2019 Coaching saga -Thread

I don't think there were a plethora of high end coaches to choose from, and with the success Madge has had with the Bunnies, in England and with the Kiwis. I'm extremely pleased with his (unofficial) appointment, looking forward to 2019 and beyond And from what I've read, Bennett really didn't even ...

Re: Tigers set to part ways with Cleary and seal Bennett deal

Slightly conflicting there Lauren. I think Justin and Marina are taking their time to ensure they explore all possible options and go through the due process. Our problem before was that we didn't do that. Yeah now we're awaiting on how things unveil at the Broncos and it makes me feel they haven't...

Re: ETHNICITY?

Fathers side NZ, Mother side Aussie. I was born in Dunedin NZ mid sixties yet lived in Aus since the late sixties. Supported the Tigers for nearly the duration, but quietly have a soft spot for the All Blacks. Australia is arguably the best country in the world, let's hope that does not change. And ...

Re: Tigers set to part ways with Cleary and seal Bennett deal

From time to time I get some solid mail on the tigers so here it is. The deal with Penrith regarding Cleary is just about a done deal , he will not be at the Tigers for 2019. The Tigers playing group want Bennet but the Broncos will not release him unless they get Seibold make no mistake the Bronco...

Re: Tigers set to part ways with Cleary and seal Bennett deal

Back on topic. If recent reports are true the Broncos are interviewing four prospective coaches of whom Maguire is one. If we end up with Maguire it will only be because he is a Bronco's reject - where is the pride in that? I'd rather take the initiative by telling Ivan he can go now with no settle...

Re: Tigers set to part ways with Cleary and seal Bennett deal

What's also bizarre is the idea that I.C all of a sudden figures out he wants to coach his son, 18 months after taking on a major role with the Tigers. Did he not have any inclination to coach N.C before this? Maybe he did but N.C spoiled those plans when he re-upped with Penrith? And bizarre x 3 i...

Re: 2018 Grand Final Melbourne v Roosters

Don't let the fact that the 3 panellists are separate from the NRL and don't work for the NRL come between you and the tin foil. Would happily share the tinfoil with the snowflake pinheads who moan "people only wanted to see Slater get found guilty only because they don't like him". Yeah, because t...

Is it possible that, now that Gus has managed to get Nathan's signature, the Panther's wont be chasing Ivan after all?

Just a thought.
And a valid thought.

Re: BREAKING: Panthers re-sign Cleary on long-term extension

“To sign a deal of this significance with a player we have seen develop through our own pathways system, from a young age, is a special moment indeed.”

Agree 100% with that. Good to see
