Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

Apparently Kev has asked for a immediate release to the super league. ( Wackos Whispers) These whispers about KN are getting louder by the minute but if they're true I can't fault him for wanting the move but WT might have to say no until we sort out replacements. By my reckoning we've already lost...

Re: Kane Linnett

Our expectations and standards have dropped to an all-time low. Let’s contact ‘Meals On Wheels’, they may have some clients that we can transition into our side, no doubt with plenty of life experience. Harry Wells is still available. Big, strong, hard-running centre who gave (Reg) Gasnier plenty o...

I would most certainly welcome Taupau back, but didn't I hear last night on 360 that the Tigers are chasing S.Boyd?
I heard that part but didn't quite pick up whether Kent said Tigers or Titans. After I replayed it a couple of times I'm pretty sure he said Titans.

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

Newcastle out purchased us due to uncle nick sending his discards up there, he has a relationship with someone I recall. apart from taking the punt on Ponga of course Ponga was a pretty spectacular punt you'd have to say. If you think of a 40 - 20 as a good punt, buying Ponga was akin to a 10 - 10....

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

Unless we start winning a few games again, we have no chance of signing anyone decent. The attraction of coming to the Tigers is wearing off imo. Sadly, I agree. Three losses have taken the gloss off WT a little. I don't think we'd ever hope to compete with the likes of the Broncos, Storm or Rooste...

Re: What to do with Grubby?

I can't believe anyone would be putting pressure on IC to play Reynolds or that he would allow himself to be pressured. I think Ivan played him to get him acclimatised back to the NRL after months off the field. I think there will be times in the rest of the competition where we'll be glad we signe...

Re: Auburn Warriors to fold due to failed Mehajer sponsorship

I wonder how many of those old clubs from the Wests juniors are still around. I played for Ashfield De La Salle in the 1960s and we played against teams like Enfield Federals, Concord United, Burwood United, Granville Diggers, Berala, St Pat's Strathfield and Auburn Warriors. It was a very good sta...

Re: Rick Wade the magpie saviour and ours now.

I don't recall Western Suburbs being kicked out of any competition.... :sign: Wests were excluded 2 years in a row, Wayde run rock concerts and raffles and many more money making schemes to keep the club alive, whilst Wests never missed a season, they were excluded for 2 seasons in a row only to be...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

The Lurker Apr. 4, 2018 There’s mail of more drama at the winless Eels. Last week, it was star five-eighth Mitchell Moses that was believed to be angry with the state of affairs at the club. Moses took exception to Jarryd Hayne’s alleged short cuts at training - and let the staff know as much at tr...

Re: Aussies 2018 tour of South Africa Spoilers

I'm not normally a 'hang 'em high' person but this is totally egregious behaviour. I would sack Smith and any other member of the leadership / coaching team who knew what was going to happen. I would suspend Smith and others who conspired for 3 years and suspend Bancroft for 1 year. I think it's tim...

Re: We must take a Gamble

Gamble is just not ready. He's promising and will likely be a good to very good first grader but not yet. Just watched him in ISP hoping for signs he's ready but he's not there yet. Today's game was a good opportunity but he didn't take it. He needs time to develop his game. I think he could be knoc...

Re: Magpies v Wyong live game thread

We didn't deserve to win but I hate it when referees decide games. Two penalties in the last 5 minutes walked Wyong up our end and gave them great field position. We couldn't buy a penalty when we needed it. It's not always the penalties referees give that decide games it's often the ones they ignor...
