Re: 2019 Coaching saga -Thread

Hasler and Manly are a great fit. He should never have gone to the Bulldogs in the first place. Only went for the big bucks, or was it just to sabotage them? Either way he did a good job of messing them up and being paid handsomely for it 😂. Now he is back where he belongs.

Re: Benji Marshall re-watched all his 2018 games before deciding his future with Tigers

If Farah is playing the same role with Liddle that he played with Cook, it makes no sense for him to be starting. Liddle can't cope at the moment. Who is your starting option if is not Farah? If Liddle can’t cope, it’s getting to close to where we should start asking why we are persisting with him....

I havent heard a thing from Pascoe on the coaching for months...must be just more speculation.
Happy to be correceted
Nah you're probably right. It has been reported in the media as though someone from the club (Pascoe?) has actually stated it, but it may not even be true!

Re: 2019 Coaching saga -Thread

I see it like this..... Ivan wants to coach his son sometime in the future..... Nathan signs long term with Penrith for the next 5 years... Ivan (if true) signs with Penrith from 2021.... Ivan states he will honour his contract to keep coaching WTs until 2020.... He then goes to Penrith to coach Na...

Re: Our past is killing our future

We are a club where players, who are stuck behind better players at their current club, can come to and get a first grade gig. That speaks volumes.

That said, change is still possible, but Bennett is a must for that change to happen, imo.

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

Seeing the stories in todays paper about Benji wanting to reach 300 games, and thinking he is going to play on in 2020 have me worried. These words were from Benji, not a journo, gee we are in trouble if Benji is our starting 6 next season, let alone 2020 I didnt see the quote but he would be haluc...

Re: Politics Super Thread - keep it all in here

For the sake of the USA i hope the democrats get absolutely annihilated in the mid-terms. It may force them to wake up and step back from the edge of total insanity, where they have moved so far to the left that Bernie Sanders looks like a moderating force these days. No country can successfully pr...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

I might sound cruel because of his bad run of injuries, but I think Liddle will turn out to be another one of those 'shoulda, coulda, woulda, but won't juniors that we seem to produce, at will, here at Wests Tigers. I haven't seen much in the guy, even when he has been on the field, to convince me ...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

Young Hooker Starling from the Knghts will be here next year. NSW cup I beleive but with a chance to win the Robbie spot in 2020 and learn off him this year Jacob Liddle really needs to step up doesnt he. He has been far from convincing with injury and what not. Someone needs to step up. Good to se...

Re: 2019 Coaching saga -Thread

I suspect it’s wishful thinking about Bennett. Maguire is available now, lives in Sydney with a young family. Bennett is going to be 70 in 2020 and made it clear he will stick out next year with the Broncos. TPJ signing for 1 year after a cracker year speaks volumes. His value atm is sky high. The ...

Re: Tigers set to part ways with Cleary and seal Bennett deal

Here's what I've heard. Cleary expects to report to Panthers training in 10 days. No contract has been signed. Tigers want Bennett. Maguire second choice. Broncos want Seibold Maguire wants Broncos Bennett is softening on Tigers (I.e. More possible than before) Nobody has signed anything. And so it...

Tpj and oates 1 year at brisbane = bennett staying there for 2019 = Madge here
That's a shame! Two players that would strengthen us in positions where we are in desperate need and they will end up signing somewhere else with Bennett in 2020. Sucks!

I can only log in on my iPhone now. The login on my iPad just won’t connect.
If you clear the cache on your ipad it should fix the problem if you are still experiencing this...go to setting click on safari and clear history and cache...worked for me...
Thanks Geo, all good now 👍

Re: Tigers set to part ways with Cleary and seal Bennett deal

sign Madge for 4 years and put all the speculation to bed. Uncle Wayne although obviously a top coach, is a traveling side show and we need a bloke without whistles and fan fare. In a way similar to Ivan. a quite achiever and we need a bloke long term. Basically we need this put to bed and the last...

This debate about the phrase is dumb. You should all stop it.
Yes where’s that Willow fellow when you need him now? He had no hesitation telling me and GNR to knock it off earlier when I was being accused of being flippant or somebody else or something, I dunno
