Re: Why pressure won't get to Luke Brooks in 2018

For a halfback it’s really all about being able to control a game, which Brooks has rarely done in five seasons. Let’s hope he can actually do this consistently this season.

Some ridiculous reasons for parenthood. Maybe playing on both sides will help him find a surrogate amongst the crowd.

Re: Politics Super Thread - keep it all in here

Hilary Clinton is not an 'idiot left winger', she is an accomplished, assertive & intelligent woman, but people apparently can't handle those qualities in a female, judging by the way she (& others like her) is always being savagely trashed. No I am not. The whole 'left wing', 'right wing' concept ...

Re: Politics Super Thread - keep it all in here

Thanks for being so judgemental and self righteous, but you have no idea about me at all. The irony just gave you third degree burns. 2 minutes ago you accused me of being a misogynist without any evidence of sexism and without knowing me at all. Being judgemental and self righteous looks to be you...

Re: Politics Super Thread - keep it all in here

Abe, you seem to have a problem with the idea of a woman being in a leadership role. Anyone can challenge Donald, as long as they are male. Surprise, surprise! No, i seem to have a problem with idiot left wingers. Are you one of them? Hilary Clinton is not an 'idiot left winger', she is an accompli...

Re: Politics Super Thread - keep it all in here

Only because people were tired of politicians and once he became nominated, he ran against one of the most corrupt and scandalous persons to ever hold public office. She was easy to take down. It was a protest vote and a clear message to Washington from the general public. It seems the Democrats ju...

Re: Politics Super Thread - keep it all in here

He's all there, dont worry about that. The absolutely impecable way he played America to secure the presidency is an indicator. Another indicator would be that he managed to get quite a lot done in 2017 despite half his own party, the greater majority of the world's media and almost the entire ente...

Re: Realistic team list round 1 2018

My take 1. Lolohea 2. Nofoaluma 3. Milne 4. Suli 5. Fonua 6. Reynolds 7. Brooks 8. Matulino 9. Liddle 10. Packer 11. McQueen 12. Taylor 13. Eisenhuth 14. Twal 15. Grant 16. Aloiai 17. Sue :sign: Best team I reckon, tho I would maybe drop Sue for Benji as he is much more versatile. We don't need ano...

Re: The Bench

What about poor Marsters or Benji or Grant. "Wests Tigers are sad to lose Tim Grant, but could not stand in the way of the 2 year offer from Penrith." Huh? Why the hell would Penrith want another prop with all the young up and comers they have in their ranks? Especially one they previously discarde...

Re: Official - Josh Reynolds Signs Megathread

Actually saw Matt Mc & Alex Twal at the casino a couple of weeks ago behaving perfectly normal. Maybe our culture will rub off on Josh... You could just about guarantee that Reynolds wasn't the only first grader turfed out of a venue over the mad Monday weekend. It's been reported a few times that ...

Re: Official - Josh Reynolds Signs Megathread

Some would call it passion, others would call it being a complete tosser and overreacting to a throw away line that is generally given when asked how you think your team is going to go. That's if the story is true, of course.

Re: Crichton to roosters

Souths fans are livid about this and rightly so. Reportedly, Crichton left them for only 50,000 more a season - not a huge difference, but of course he wants to win a Premiership  He hasn't even given Souths a chance to show what they can do, they still have a pretty good line up. He will prob...

Re: Crichton to roosters

I don't buy the culture argument. I agree that it is club's rorting the cap but that isn't a good culture. Slightly confused Earl Why can't a club cheating the cap have a good culture ?? You mean the club rife with drug addicts, dog rooters and sex pests? Yes and all the best players still want to ...

Re: Crichton to roosters

Hopefully he turns out to be a one season wonder. Yep that would be the best case scenario for sure. That and Cronk playing busted because he played on one season too long, instead of retiring when he should've. Roosters end up spending 2 million on a couple of duds and miss out on yet another prem...

Re: Why new Shark Seumanufagai left the Tigers

I'd love nothing more than to see Wests Tigers and Newcastle make the finals next season, while the Sharks, Roosters, Parra & Bulldogs all miss out.
