Re: Zane Musgrove

Does anybody have any info or know what the Zane situation is up to? Are we keeping him basically is what I want to know? And if not, are there any rumours for a replacement?

Re: TPA’s

We all know some clubs cheat, use underhanded tactics, 'brown paper bag's, etc. They get caught for it. I think the backlash against the NRL is that we expect them to be able to stop the dodgy dealings, but in that they clearly fail. Personally I suspect components of the NRL are as corrupt and dodg...

Re: Cronulla Sharks being investigated over possible salary cap breaches

They were busted for used animal drugs, and received a backdated sentence effectively reducing it to nearly nothing. Busted for going over the salary cap, conveniently in years either side of when they won the comp but somehow not in that one year when they won. Like the Roosters, they obviously hav...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

Read a story saying that Brisbane and Warriors were potentially interested in Mitchell Moses.

Oh i hope he goes to Broncos, that would be awesome, please be true. It's been ages since they missed the 8, but I have faith in Mitch, he could do it!

Re: Forget about damage to rugby league – what about damage to women?

45. That is the number of women in Australia who have been killed by men in domestic violence situations this year. In just this year. 19 children too. I understand a woman retracting her statement, there are many who rightfully so fear for their lives and figure pressing charges is signing their ow...

Re: Zane Musgrove

The players are well and truly educated on what happens to men who engage in domestic violence/physical assault. After enough times, get sacked from your club, then go and sign with another club. It all depends on your status in the game. There is some room to come out the other side though, Russel ...

Re: Zane Musgrove

Should be taken out of the club's hands. Should be NRL coming down and de-registering these players if found guilty. Stood down whilst court investigations are underway. And other clubs and disallowed from re-signing the player. Players should be sacked, and after serving a long ban (year or two) sh...

Glad the Raiders got a serve. Why should NSW have to pay for their stadium at all!

In fairness. I don't believe there is an ACT AFL team.
Sorry mate, I missed the point. How is having an AFL team relevant or not? There is a Union team in Canberra.
P.S. Glad the Raiders got a serve too.

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

:deadhorse: Cooper Cronk shuts down retirement talk and won’t rule out playing on for the Roosters in 2020 Roosters would be stupid to sign him for another year. I honestly thought he was ordinary last year. Keary and latrells side is where the points come from. I hope they do sign him. Honest to g...

Re: Luke Brooks

Thanks for all the info. So the $3m over 4 years is the estimate of Brent Read. Cool. Sounds about right, probably. I'm glad we don't know exactly how much, because then our competitors would know, and why show them our cards? All this talk about another centre. What if Mom comes good? We won't nee...

Any idea on how much he signed for?
Personally I hope it was a significant increase on his last contract as he deserves it.

Stoked that he re-signed.

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

My guess is Flanagan https://twitter.com/ReadingThePlay/status/1067341010454237184?s=19 I suspect Flanno has a gig at Sharks for life. He had to be in it up to his eyeballs with the peptides, the salary cap cheating, he is as dodgy as anything and he would have some massive dirt on the club. I woul...

He is utter scum. I can't believe he is pretending like he has done nothing wrong, "the decision was mutual", and all professional, honest, blah blah blah. Tigers fans have thanked me... Wow. Re: Hayne plane

Yoss, I made the Ivan Cleary thread in August. You said Gus was Zero chance of bringing him back and zero chance he left the Tigers for 2019 anyway. So I'm a little worried you declared Hayne "zero chance" of coming to the Tigers. Hard to picture Hayne as a Dog or a Dragons though. So who knows.
