Re: Elijah Taylor option in club favour

I will call our team 95% complete when i hear ET& ME confirmed signings. The tigers, at the moment are a very competitive team even with what Ivan has to work with this year. All our new signings, who we keep, after a full pre season getting the gafer tape to stick, we will be pushing hard up that l...

Re: Gareth Ellis

The bloke is a winner. His record proves that. Great for us. Maybe Ivan can entice him back to warmer weather and a forwards coaching roll.
Well done champ. Our game will miss you.

Re: The Bus is FULL

We are talking bus full. I think that we have a few untried players in reggies that need to be given a crack. Heleta tatolo, lolo, sironen, marshall-king, and there may be more. Not a winning side, the reggies but from what i have seen this year, have never been able to put a steady side on the fiel...

Re: Curtis Rona

TBD. Nofo was one of the first acrobatically gifted wingers. Pulled off one that kept getting replays on and on. He can't run lenght of field but give him ball 15 to 20 out and he will get a gig for sers de le soliel or whatever that mob is called. Wingers need to be sharp and ready. Also need the b...

Re: Kevin Naiqama

My thoughts exactly milky. He wants to stay so give him a contract that will let him finish his carpentry course. He has served us well, without being a star. Can be explosive on his day and he can also help our reserve grade team off the bottom of ladder. Push for FG if selected players get to comf...

Re: Brooks becomes the running man

Good pick up needaname. I have posted recently that we need a player who can use right kicks and one who can use left kicks. I'm left footed bugger if i can kick anything with right foot. It comes natural to some but not everyone
Good to see someone is actually watching the game.

Re: Brooks becomes the running man

Thanks Vlad. We all agree he is no Johns and your stats prove that. A real shame everyone put a tag on him to be the next Johns, talk about pressure? He should not have read into it coz obviously he has and is his own worst enemy. In saying that the kid needs more time a good team around him and a st...

Re: The Benji 2018 Poll

I wouldn't mind heighno coming home. Was my fav WT player all heart. Would be good depth signing and atleast he and Benji could retire at home. We all love them for their heroics in '05.

Re: The Benji 2018 Poll

Welcome home Benji Son. Been surely missed by many Tigers fans. Has anyone remembered that Ivan has now bought Bennetts Qld cup half and 5/8. Tyson Gamble and now benji. Great depth signings. I think the likes of bennett and belamy will be keeping a close eye on any move Ivan is making. I'm feeling ...

Re: Official - Josh Reynolds Signs Megathread

Lets not single out one of our recruits next year. All 12 or 13 recruits will have to stand up.Can't put pressure on just one. Add in the players we have kept also. Will all have to tighten laces on thier boots. I'm seeing good things. Starts tomorrow brothers and sisters.

Re: Brooks becomes the running man

All you guys seem so good at stats and define a player by stats. I would love if all the stats lovers digged deep and found out what Andrew Johns stats were for a full season when he was Brooks's age. I don't doubt Johns but i think he had alot more time to establish himself then what us WT'S fans a...

Re: Jason Taylor's face @ 78mins & 30 secs tonight.

It is a dead horse but my first call at it. Like i said i had high hopes for him was a more then average player. Just can't and probably never will convert it into being a first grade NRL coach. The writing was on the wall. Myself stupid for thinking he might after the south fiasco.

Re: Brooks becomes the running man

I do believe that brooks is struggling, but as mentioned in prior posts, we always had more then one kicker. Farrah was brilliant out of dummy half with his left side kicks. Not sure what leg liddle or Mmc have or even brooks but i think you need a left foot kick and or a right foot kick out of DH o...

Jason Taylor's face @ 78mins & 30 secs tonight.

JT looked exactly the same way for two years while he coached us. More fool me i thought he would be the goods. You know ex magpie and good halfback and goal kicker. Promised so much but???? I'm so in for next year I don't think it will be a cliche thing, "Maybe Next Year". I do believe it will beco...
