Re: Mitchell Pearce

There was zero chance Cronk was going to retire, the Roosters deal was as good as done as far back as April 2017.

Who said the off season was boring? OK and now for the Roosters!
Roosters still have enough cap space for at least another 2 marquee signings

Re: Should we all boycot GWS Giant sponsors.

I drive Camry's, have a '16 Atara SX. Not a performance vehicle but still got all the creature comforts. I've got an 2011 Touring Camry , you boot it in the guts and it has great pick up for a Granny Car 2nd Camry now and apart from a water pump in the 1st and the air con in the 2nd no issues whats...

Re: Basket Cases

I don't expect The Dogs to stay down. Me neither, they finished the season well and showed what they are capable of. They have shed who they needed to shed and bought well for next year. I don't think they will be as 'down' as some on here are hoping they will be. Time will tell, but let's focus on...

Re: Gus' idea about concentrating on South West Sydney

I live near ctown and go to games there. Go to ANZ ad that is easy enough to get to. Allianz is also not bad. Leichhardt is a pain in terms of public transport but Parramatta is terrible to get to from anywhere other than the west or central Sydney Don't they have direct services from cambo to parr...

Horsemouth Tedesco was always going to be a Rooster provided the coin was right, it wasn’t right last contract, it was this time.

Re: Teddy plans to end career at WT

So Horsemouth wants to get a retirement payment from us when he is past his use by date and the Roosters don’t want him anymore. Use us to make you a star and then come back when you’re washed up and give your best years to the Roosters. Tedesco would have been a star no matter where he was playing...

Re: Teddy plans to end career at WT

He can finish up a Tiger for sure. If Castleford is still in the ESL that is....... Castleford are the league leaders this year, 10 points clear at the top with 20 wins and 3 losses and already locked up the minor premiership, don’t think they would have a place for him. Sorry, posted a 3 week old ...

I wish Geo.
Seems to have a problem with player management going on past appointments but would make a great assistant coach.

Re: Teddy plans to end career at WT

I hope the roosters have a couple of years like last year while he is there. They have been pretty consistent in recent years, but how many times have they been premiers? Twice in like 20 years. Only 1 better than us. Twice in 42 years, and 4 in 72 years, 1945 was the previous prior to 1974 and 75,...

Re: Woods may have stayed if Ivan had come earlier

Matulino ran for 153 metres against a big Raiders pack with two offloads. I suspect Cleary wouldn't be interested. It would be too high of a percentage of the cap in props. Mats is a hell of a player. He also had a hand in one of their tries. He'll be a forum favourite next year imo. Hope so. Have ...

Re: Player fire sale just weeks away

As much as I have little to no sympathy with the clubs mentioned, there is a large amount of blame with the NRL in prolonging cap level negotiations for 2018 onwards out this long. Of course clubs will be already singing, and re-signing , players. Fortunately, for WT, we were in a position where su...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

I don't like front or back loading. The benefit quickly becomes a disadvantage. Okay, fine if it's for a small percentage of the contract, but no for large chunks. This is okay: Year 1: 500 Year 2: 350 Year 3: 350 Not Okay: Year 1: 700 Year 2: 250 Year 3: 250 The only way it really should be used i...
