Re: Making your kids fans.

I couldn't agree more! My Mum did it to me and I have done it to my son (19) and daughter (3). The last thing I say to my daughter when putting her to bed, or dropping her at day care, is "Go Tigers" and she throws her arm in the air.

Re: TIGERS Rozelle Development

And for those interested but can't read the whole report the conclusion reads: 10. CONCLUSION This report has assessed the potential social impacts and benefits arising from the development of the Balmain Leagues Club. Overall it is considered that the proposed redevelopment of the site will have a ...

Re: TIGERS Rozelle Development

Pity we cant see the plans online. Had some good nights at the old club especially in 05 :D Hopefully the locals can get behind it so it doesn't become a dive site. Alot of detail is available on the council website - http://www.eservices.lmc.nsw.gov.au/ApplicationTracking/Pages/XC.Track/SearchAppl...

Chee Kams penalty on half time is hanging material.
I agree with this. It was like he was asking to be penalised. At best he is a bench player but it still won’t make him a smart player....

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

the catch is that the NRL demand a certain number of players in a squad and certain % of the salary cap spent each year. This means you cant just have 22 players and a whole bunch of $$ stockpiled. Someone learned can provide the detail This won't quite answer your question but Pascoe said to me (a...

Re: Are Eels looking to offload Moses.....?

Read this article on Zero Tackle about Bevan French seeking to exit the Eels...(no thanks to the Tigers!)....but what was interesting is the statement about Moses and that the Eels would not stand in his way if he sought a release...haha..sounds like the myth that is Moses is on thin ice at the Eel...

Penrith had/have options all over the park. We don’t. We try hard but lack cohesion and class.

Re: What’s happened to Josh ALOIAI..

Cleary is picking the team on form. Rockow is the only forward you might think of relegating, but he has been there from game one and really is getting a job done for Cleary and I dont think his stats reflect his value to the team. The ball is in Josh's court as we all know he could be anything I t...

Re: Balmain 80s/90s

As for what happened to them like others have suggested the recruitment was poor. They were never really a club to buy stars from other clubs but mostly grew their own (juniors, country players, fringe first graders etc) and when the new batch came through they just weren't up to it (Michael Brown w...

Re: Balmain 80s/90s

This thread has got me thinking. We were in 88 and 89 grandfinals. I assume this would have been good for profitability. How did we go from that to close to broke in under 5 years?? I don't think that the Leagues Club was ever that profitable and when the casino opened in the late 90's it had an im...

Re: Benji needs back up

1. Benji is fine 2. Even if Reynolds was fit Benji starts at 6. As far as I'm concerned as long as Benji keeps playing as he has, Reynolds plays Reggie's. The question for me is, is Benji's form better than Reynolds form of the last few years at the Bulldogs? Yes I think some people think that Reyn...

Gamble needs to be given a shot in FG.

The refs are pretty one sided again, unbelievable.
The refs are fine and an easy target. If we lose it’s nofo with the stupid play that lead to sin bin and Marshall with stupid 2nd tackle kick.

Re: Your most unpopular opinion about league

Why? It looks out of place. Lol I think you're trolling. As a neutral fan you should be allowed to wear your team's jersey. My question is why would you want to? People who wear their team's jersey to a game between 2 totally different teams look like fools, who have turned up to the wrong game. Sp...

Do the knights get deducted the 2 competition points ? Do we get the win instead?
No they will just lose 2
Am I the only one that thinks in these type of cases that if a team losses points (except salary cape breaches) that the other team should get the points?
