Would Bennett come

The son in law last night said Bennett never coaches for money. At that point I thought then we are perfect for him. Then I read an article where he was offered $900k to return to the Boncos and his alleged comment was "don't insult me". Oops not coming here then. I don't rate him the best coach eve...

Why would you join Wests Tigers?

... Because my manager says that the Wests Tigers have agreed to my terms.

Can someone please tell me how Broncos are under the Cap?

Regardless of the Thorougbreds or not, Brisbane like Storm, Bulldogs, Roosters etc do have a host of 3rd party sponsors. These sponsorships don't count toward their salary cap. Most of the other clubs, like ours, are always disadvantaged.

Killing off suburban rugby league tradition a mistake

Ink & Mike, I agree with both your sentiments. I am an old Balmain Tiger who used to attend every game when there were only 12 Sydney teams. Back then everything about home grounds appeared pretty even. Each ground was much the same as the other - small, old & basic. Leichardt oval Lidcombe oval End...

Potter has no oomph

I wonder what Potters like in the sheds and behind closed doors? Poker faced at media interviews means FA to me. I'm starting to think you lot would swap Potter for Ricky Stuart. After a win it's all about the players and after a loss it's all about the coach. Nuff said Posted using RoarFEED V.4

Nice change isnt it?

I've lived in Qld for over 30 years now and it is true. They do have an inferiority complex. I remember when we won in 2005 everyone up here said SOO was s*** and weren't watching anymore. Different story after they kept winning. Anyway, I won't be watching tonight. Haven't watched it since Inglis m...

CRAP TEAM & ATTACK

So after 2/3 of the season completed we are equal fourth on the ladder by competition points and Potter can't coach. Forget about the long injury list and rep players. Potter can't coach.

After a win this forum bubbles with confidence. After a loss the sky is falling.

3 Hookers?!?!

There aren't 3 hookers.

Luani, yes. Halatau is a lock/second rower who can play hooker and Austen is a utility back.

Protect players from themselves

If Farah or Woods were injured in Game 3 I'm expecting the Forum to go into meltdown I can accept injuries in any game but my point is for players to come back too early, especially in the origin arena, is stupidity. It seems that the origin coaches leave it entirely up to the player. I am sure tha...

Not a strong enough argument. These guys are on big coin at their clubs.

Geezus
I'm happy with bench Ink. I nearly fell off the chair when I heard Buchanan's name earlier. I'm 58 and think that I can run faster than him! Although I am a fan of Aku.

On footy show today Corey Parker talking about returning to play SOO 3. Had a badly fractured eye socket where doctor said 6 weeks and you'll be OK. He returns after 4 weeks and it still looks bruised in that area. Tells us that we don't live in a perfect world. Then he goes on about Cooper Cronk an...

Gavet disciplinary action?

No excuse turning up late for work. Sets a poor example for the rest of the team if he gets away with it unpunished as well. True , but thousands do it every day with little or no consequences I hope all of our players don't turn up 35 minutes late for a game!!! But hang on, it's ok because thousan...

Carney on the piss - different piss this time

How many times have I heard "he's not hurting anyone, why sack him?"

I suppose everyone has their own moral compass.
