Re: "Hi Craig...long time no see"

Its a shame that things didn't work out for Seers. Really liked him at the Bears. Seem to recall him going berko after a relationship break up.

anyway - back to Thompson, there will be injuries and he will get his chance at some stage. Good to hear he is having a red hot go.

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

Good move by the pennies. Release 2 morons on big $:

- Moylan when they had good/better alternatives at fb and 5/8
- Cartwright who was supposed to be a backrower but played like a 5/8 and terrible defender, and again better alternatives in the back row

Re: Player profiles updated (partially)

Just for fun, it's interesting to compare the modern player weights to the times when the game was semi professional. The following are from the Balmain 1981 squad. Forwards David Grant 188cm 96 kg Neil Whittaker 178 cm 77 kg Neil Pringle 181 cm 91 kg Gary Spears 180 cm 94 kg Ron Pilon 185 cm 85 kg ...

Re: Lolohea

He doesn't have to be Teddy, just be a solid fb with low mistakes and never say die attitude. If he can lift his goalkicking rate to something like Moses got to last year then he will make a brilliant contribution to the team.

Re: NRL 2018: Chris Lawrence puts hand up for captaincy at new-look Wests Tigers

We all agree that Rowdy will struggle to make the top 17, but even if he does i can't think of a reason to pick him. That said I like a captain who gets in the face of referees a la Geoff Toovey. We need someone smart enough and quick witted enough to know when and how to take the refs on. Farah did...

Re: The Contenders: Hooker

Probably our weakest position. A few players could do a job but no stand-outs at hooker . No one is terrible at DH but no one is a possible rep player either. Disagree TD - I think a number of positions are weaker than DH. Liddle is definitely a future rep player and was already named in the Emergi...

Re: The Contenders: Lock

I know the modern trend is to have props interchangeable with locks, but if Taylor is a consideration for lock, why not Rowdy? He's got the ball skills (gone well at 5/8 for us in the past) and the footwork.

Re: Questions for Pascoe

Is anyone else still having problems with accessing videos on WT site? When I hit enter all I get is a shot of the ground. Nice but not what i want. So frustrating - not to mention hard to keep up without it. All good for me on an IPad. Yes, that's good, but shouldn't it be good on anything. It was...

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

100%, In all honesty I think it’s quite simple. Third parties go, if business’ want to invest money, it goes into directly into a club. It Makes every club stronger and more financially viable. Whilst Clubs can still only spend the salary cap on players. If club sponsors wish to use players for add...

Re: The Contenders: Winger

I agree with you on speed Eddie, but our attack can still be effective if we don't allow opposition defensive structures to form. Quick ptb from our better balanced pack, back up from the halves, get the ball wide and we'll have some success.

Re: Signing Suggestions & Rumours THREAD..

I like Paul Kent's notion. TPA's to go....no need for them now as Salary Cap has increased so much over last 5 years or so. TPA's were originally bought in before the game could "afford" million dollar contracts and to deter players going to UK in times when they had the $$$ to splash around and Ru...
