2021 NSW Cup Draw

So much for V’landys comments about making sure Saturday and Sunday nrl games would have jersey flegg and nsw cups before them. He was boasting in multiple articles at the end of January how it would be the return of three grades on game day yet there are only 16 nrl games with all three grades across the entire competition all season.

Are you talking about before Wests Tigers games...?

Because I just went through the 1st 8 weeks of the draw and every Saturday and Sunday game has State Cup before NRL depending who is scheduled ..that's 16 State Cup games right there..prior to NRL

Flegg only has 10 teams playing in total so a lot of BYE'S for example Canberra don't have a Flegg team and Wests Tigers have a BYE 1st up..Raiders v Wests is the curtain raiser down there

I'm sure if the schedules match there will be 3 games eg Round 2 Flegg v Roosters 11:45 Wests v Norths 1:40 Wests Tigers V Roosters 4:05pm

I’m talking about all 3 grades playing, flegg then nsw cup then nrl. Only happens 16 times all season across the competition. Round 2 has wests tigers Flegg playing at TG Millner instead of it being a curtain raiser. Only making a point of it because v’landy’s is quoted as saying that he would do “whatever it takes” to make it happen and “anyone who got in his way would be run over.” This was as a result of the nrl fan poll where 96% of fans voted in preference of this. Those quotes were used in multiple articles from multiple news outlets on February 1st this year.
