How to beat Penrith?

Ivan's first visit back to Leichardt. I wonder if he will arrive by bus?

Well hopefully 20000 Tigers supporters turn and blow Ivan a kiss if we beat them
We must take all of our opportunities now and this is a must win against a weakened Panthers team

So we got the Panthers next week.
Anyone see any chinks in their armour?
How can we beat the supposed "unbeatable"?

Let's discuss tactics or ideas.

Has become a bigger challenge now that Lucy will be out.

Score more points than them..

Not 1 game this year have they had score board pressure..

Only the one game, when they barely beat Melbourne early in the season.
They are massive darlings of the NRL at the moment so the refs give them favourable treatment every game, that makes them difficult to beat in itself.
Our team don't really have it in them to physically pummel any team for the full 80 but that is without a doubt the blueprint for knocking the Panthers off. They get rattled by sustained physical battering by an opponent. That is why the Storm will have their measure again in the end of season matches this year, the Storm are the masters of germ warfare and general grubbery.
For all their bluster IMO the Panthers have a soft underbelly apart from JFH. Kikau for all his celebrated size and power has some very shameful lay-downs in matches, his one against the Bulldogs yesterday was nothing short of an absolute embarrassment.
If a team can throw these arrogant muppets into the furnace of sustained physical pressure they will almost certainly wilt IMO. We will see it in September or more than likely October.......it is virtually a formality that Penrith/Storm will contest the GF again. The officials will have a huge say in the end of season matches, especially with the way the game is being reffed currently.
That will be the only hope of Penrith standing up to Melbourne IMO.

Get Luai off his game hit him hard get someone in his face all night.

Cherry Evans has done this well at times

Niggle him - sounds like a Job for a Grub unfortunately

Rip Luai's floppy tongue out.

Does that count as an attack to the head?

Unfortunately we don't have any grubs.

And leave via stretcher.
I hope our supporters really make it an uncomfortable night for the maggot.
All within the law obviously😏

He deserves nothing less than to bet let known that he is a hated turncoat.

CLEARY

YEO

they should pick Luai but think wight9n will end up getting the 6

I think the way to beat Penrith isnt thinking most of their players are out,but instead go out there hit hard, tackle hard and complete the tackles without letting them get off loads, complete the sets and make them have to play hard for the win....they can and will be beaten by a very progressing Tigers team on the big improve...
