Obvious Lawrence was injured

Post by TheDen » Mon 23 Jul, 2012 10:29 pm

I know Sheens was in a difficult position but it was obvious Lawrence couldn't run for 20 mins. Was reminiscent of the try we scored when we targeted Soward last year I think. Gutsy effort but tough seeing us getting up for next weeks match

He always gets hurt after a good run! Dragons try now this.

Reminded me of an old Robert Miles game, maybe 2002, where he is hopping on one leg at Leichhardt and the opposition runs around him to score. Literally hopping up and down on the spot trying to affect a tackle.

And that was with a torn ACL too.

And it did contribute to a Cowboys try against the run of play. Had he been substituted there was a better chance of snuffing that out, I can't see any sense at all in Lawrence staying on the field, he's done it before too and only becomes a liability.
