Lawrence is a centre. He would play inside Marika.

Who will get dropped though?

1. Utai?
2. Ayshford
3. Korobete?

Surely Utai
What? Why? He played an awesome game

Lawrence to 6 so the top 3 are safe.....

No thanks!

I think the team would be better served keeping Lawrence out of 5/8.
Put Moltzen there from the start ( he ends up there anyway).
Ryan can handle fullback or you have the option of trying Lawrence there - where he could turn out to be a running fullback like Inglis.
Also interesting to note that Ayshford played fullback a few times as a junior and killed it.

Not make Rein look like Steve Walters for starters

Get up on their halves and put massive pressure on them

Tigthen our defence up around the ruck , none of this playing a compressed line crap and still letting props through untouched

Agree with the other comments in regards to our left side in attack , want to see lots of angled runners and hitting the second man plays Saints seem to struggle (like us ) with numbering up

80% of Dragons backline play moves to Cooper/Morris side of the field.

Our winger and centre out there CAN NOT rush up and in ever, let the sliding defence coming across cover the inside. With Coopers strength and Morris' speed and strength, we need to outnumber the dragons on that wing at all times.

Nightingale generally only scores tries off kicks when th Dragons have failed to score down the Cooper/Morris side. Stick Beau Ryan on Nightingale in defence.

Up the middle is the Dragons bread butter. Our front and back rowers need to be at their defensively at stopping the metres and wrapping up the ball.

Its really a very simple game plan required to stop Dragons. However most of it requires our defence to be strong and smart.

Two things they've never been this year.

Well lucky we are defending so well at the moment :?

Lets face it this is an even money game at best. As bad as some people might think the Dragons have been this year, there is no way we haven't been at least on par with them, if not worse.

We did yes, but it was pretty much all Lawrence wasn't it? There is a huge difference in quality having Lawrence (in form too) at left centre as opposed to Ryan.

to put it simple line speed and wrapping the ball up so that there is no offloads if the boys do that our attack will come.

I understand that never ending injuries did not help cohesion of the team, especially in defence, however, defence errors like in the first part of Parra's game are simply not acceptable.
WT play the best when defence is solid and aggressive, we don't provide opportunities for off-loads, and do not give silly penalties. IMHO, when we dominate the field position we can bit anybody.
However, if the opposition starts their set at our 40m consistently, and we attack from our 20m, it is very hard to win, especially against the 'grinders'.
Go Tigers.

Problem is Ink, I am sure they will return the favour, but with us having Super Safe Tim at fullback, I am sure he will catch the ball with his eye's closed.
