Gus gave a fair bit away on the Monday night Ch 9 show.

The main point being that Fitler wants fast, fresh confident players.

Moses fits the role.
Its an opinion!

what else does Brooks have to do to earn a spot

I dont think he would be far off.

Id say Cleary, Keary, Moses and possibly Green are the ones in front of him.

Maloney also but i think he has had a line drawn through him.

Anyone else thinking that Fitler is going to pick

6. M. Moses
7. N. Cleary
On tonights news Fitler all but confirmed Moses selection. This goes against everything he has said previously about form and selecting from winning teams.
We will smash em 50+ get on.

In what world is Moses in front of Brooks? Maybe on planet Freddy.

I just hope heaps of Roosters players are picked - we play them during origin. Tedesco, Ferguson, Mitchell, Keary, coroner, Napa, Friend - could all possibly be out

If Freddie picks Moses, the only explanation is he’s a double agent, working for the QRL.

I don't know about the talk around Mitchell and Roberts. Both are rapid and have a lot of talent, but they aren't 80 minute players. They both fade in and out of games and don't go searching for the ball. I don't think either of them has enough ticker for origin. I'd have one for x-factor but not both.
You could say the same about GI Fraze

But in those minutes he is on , he can change a game
GI is a completely different class of footballer. Neither Roberts or Mitchell have the presence in defence that GI does either.
The thing that worries me about the two of them is that they are both as lazy as hell in defence, and another one like them is Aitkin, give them a ball and theyre lightning, but if they dont put in the same effort in defence, we could have a difficult night
.
I think that they are all good chances, to be there, but the thought of them only switching on when they feel like it, scares me a bit.

Big couple of weeks for Moylan.

Still see him as a chance to partner Maloney in the halves but he needs some consistency and form.

Also think Twal can come from the clouds if he really puts in
Moylan is arguably the worst half in the comp , if Fittler picks him he should be sacked as NSW coach

Now thats an actual opinion, i like it lol. At least youve said something and put it on the line.

Hard to argue on current form.
Not hard at all, probably one decent game all year, I cant remember it though.
You'll notice that I said Decent........Not good
And thats coming from someone who used to think that he was a good footballer. hes lucky that hes in First Grade.

I think its hilarious Freddy is thinking about going with Moses instead of Maloney because he is worried about Maloneys defence.

Its like going from a dry paper bag to a wet paper bag

:roll

Freddys got half of the NrL thinking that theycould make it at the moment.
I think he already knows the exact makeup of the team (barring injuries).
And I dont think theres a chance in Hell that Malony wont be there.

From all reports its a total clean slate. Anyone who has been there and lost is out.
Does that mean Lawrence will get picked over Cordner?

Well if you pick the team based on current form - yes
