Thing I most remember about Slater is how he lost Australia a World Cup all on his own.

There's a good Grub(ours) and then there's Slater and Cammy.

The thing that really turned me off Cammy, was when Jarrod Croker hurt his knee and Cammy drove his knee into it.
A real cat.

Was sitting right in front of where this happened. All the Aussies were screaming except for all the kiwis laughing. :bash

Billy Slater is the best fullback of all time.
Yep. Revolutionized how the position is played. Don't get the announcement. I thought he was retiring at the end of the season anyway.

Finally some one with sense! Lol...
He is the prototype.

Now we get the Pongas and Tedescos...
Billy was the original and the best.

Remember some one describing his style as plays like his team is 4 behind with only a few minutes left on the clock... The entire game, even when his team is ahead.

Yes I’ve got to admit he’s one of a kind.
No one else over their career, has even come close to kicking as many players in the head that he has, and that’s not counting his sliding into players heads when they are about to score.
There will be quite a few players that will relax a bit now that he won’t be swinging his faithful boot around the place
Great player, but a Grub on the field,

I’m loving it that all the rats are scurrying away at almost the same time, and the ship hasn’t even starting to leak yet.

That's where it all went wrong in the 2008 GF then........
Bill should of been playing like his team was 40-0 down with 4 seconds left!
