No penalties in the second half
But but heap of penalties and sin bins cleans up the offsides and ruck and makes for a better game it's what the fans want

Well except the one that got hooked...
I missed that, who was that?
James Roberts did bugger all and got subbed off for Tyrone Peachey. I don't imagine Fittler went in thinking he'd use his utility to replace a centre.
I think he was just trying to give him a run and wasn’t prepared to sub out a forward with the match poised as it was. I thought we were going to see another Aaron Raper
Agree... Roberts did nothing wrong

That fullback from NSW is having an absolute blinder! All the debutantes have been good as well.

Ah yes of course, he didn't show much tonight did he. Euan Aitken was unlucky to miss out there, imo.

No need to worry we get a Queenslander next year.

Throughly enjoyed that game. Origin keeps delivering
Ivan "Billy Beane from Moneyball" Cleary!
It's the Ivan of the tiger, It's the thrill of the fight...

Great tactics by Fitler to run on almost all quick play the balls.

Really was the difference.

Running out of dummy half is still one of the biggest attack weapons in the game. The Wests Tigers just wasted 3 years trying to prove otherwise
Its an opinion!

Can't stand Ch9 sackriding GI - it's like they are obligated to praise his maiden captaincy game.

Apart from 2 big hits, he did jack s*** in that game. ZILCH.

Dont remember GI scoring or setting up his winger to go over, yeah Jimmy the Jet did nothing. :brick:

Big difference from the old strategy
1. Pick a team
2. Lose the series
3. Pick the same team
4. Lose the series
5. Pick the same team
6. Lose the series
7. Wonder what's going on

IN all seriousness, that was a very good game, hats off to Fittler for wanting to try something and picking a team that can execute his plan. Good to see 4 of the back 5 cross for tries as well, good thing we didn't listen to Gal and pick Turd Ferguson and Josh Bogan.

When I saw peachy on the sideline, the only safe play for freddy was to swap Roberts. Couldn't take cook, Cleary or Maloney off.

I remember GI making good metres and breaking tackles off Roberts. I also remember Trbojevic having to scream in at one point in the 2nd half when Roberts misread the play and went inside. He didn't do a good job in defence. He was grabby like he usually is.

It's hard to cheer for our nsw fullback, just doesn't feel right.

Glad we won though
