It sounds like MWZ needs to have a big game today.
Only has to put in a solid performance.

Nofo is the one that needs to keep having a big games.

Fantastic try Nofa, hello Ivan he say's
Lovely try but his poor defensive read would also have been seen by Ivan and was more telling as to whether he deserves to be back in firsts unfortunately.
Yep, it was but gee that Highlight reel they just played showed his Class. Wing for The Blues?

Really I thought defensively he was great today snuffed out quite a fe Wenty raids and cleaned up kicks apart from the 1st dropped bomb which didn't cost anything anyway....meh..

Wenty Try was all on Price with a poor missed tackle..

Will have to watch it again. I saw Nofo come out for the intercept and get no one but yes other than that he made the right choices.

Apart from the one he let in coming for the intercept, you are right.

except one bad read, another very good defensive game.
Garner is very solid, excellent tackling technique, hard to tackle and good offload.
Haleta had very good 2nd half. Nofoaluma with his characteristic 'you cannot stop me' runs, probably run over 200 m.
Drinkwater kicking game was again very good.

It is good to have these guys putting pressure on our top team, Tui is another who will need a decent game today

No doubt. Still a great performance from Nofo. Just that the thing holding him back - his defensive reads - is what let him down.

There is a difference in class - I would expect no less than a blinder.

Garner was very impressive again, although his effectiveness was possibly due to the defense allowing him to do things that first grade defences don't.

Gamble has yet to have a poor game and is certainly a future first grader somewhere.

Heleta was all class as usual. The bloke deserves to play first grade after being close to the best ISP player for 3 years.

Quadja had a very good game again. He had the ball on a string with his kicking game.

Looking at firsts, I think Kev saved himself, but I'd have Nofo or Fonua for MWZ otherwise what's the point of competition in the squad?

It is harsh, because MWZ got us home against the brown paper bag brigade by diffusing the short kick off and gave Luke the chance for us to draw level against the donkeys, but I think Nofo outplays him 9 times out of 10 given both are defensively suspect.

I just think that it would be a mistake to put Fonua in against the Storm.
They would definitely target him and he may have too many mistakes in him.
He needs lots of confidence before he gets a go in NRL.
