He came up with a couple of misreads hitting inside balls off Benji and Farah...He's not the first player to drop the pill in these circumstances, but he's definitely raw and still needs to learn a lot. Thing is, he's obviously trained very hard during the offseason to be considered for a run because this time last year he wasn't on the radar. I'd be more inclined to put him on the wing. He's decently quick as his chase on Jennings showed (yeah he didn't catch him, but Jennings wasn't pulling away too quickly either, and he has genuine speed), and if he gets one on one, he'll more often than not trample someone.
He could be our next Tuiaki if used right.

I watched him both games and the thing I like is, just like Koro a bit rough around the edges , but he has a go every time he gets the ball and we need to find players like this to bend the line that if we are going to have any chance in 2013. He got smashed in tackle got a penalty and then took the ball up again straight away and got smashed again. At least he had the guts to take them on.
People said the same thing about Koro last year and look what has happened. I would also put Nofu in the same basket and add he is better than all 3 under the high ball.Think both are a better options than Utai to start the season on the wing.

It was actually comedic how bad he was the other night !! Rory Brien should be well ahead of 'big t'...
How come we just can't seem to produce any decent forwards ?
The roosters have 18 backrowers to choose from, the doggies, the storm all seem to have forwards coming out of nowhere...
Is Sironen a viable option in the backrow ? he's big enough.

Sironen is barely 100kg, all our forwards are bigger than that except anasta and fulton, who people harp on about not being able to play both at the same time as they're too small. He's not massive, big i'll grant you.

He's massive- he will wreak havoc one day. Why do you think he is in the team - his ball security?
