First Grade Live Game Thread vs Eels Round 3

I like the nil scoreline but I still think our defence needs to be better. Parra have nearly scored a couple of times. The penalties are 5-0 to us, we can expect a square up in the second half. Good defence and we win.

Moltz has been good in defence, saved one try and had a hand with farah in the other...coulda been 18-10 or 12....still dogs in with the ball doing the hard yards

Golden - Utai is injured.
Reddy makes me just as nervous as Utai does

Really enjoying Miller straightening the ruck and having a sticky-beak at the line...

If Hayne keeps at the Ref, I reckon he might get sent for 10 tonight!

Good to see Potter talking up the forwards in the sheds.

Tigers looking great so far. Everyone is playing their part.

One thing I've noticed is the players are reading what is in front of them really well. Lawrence is timing his runs perfectly. Farah and Benji are holding up their passes to the right second. Ayshford saw the marker was slow at getting up so ran himself.

It's beautiful to watch

I'm waiting for the reign of brooks!!
I was very sceptical of Miller but he's looked great.

I would like to see Anasta get the ball more, I think can be effective if used a bit more in a ball playing role.

Good controlled footy by the Tigers

But when the possession % switches back ,the Tigers defence will need to switch on

It has been dusty at times especially in Parras half

Great kick chase, contribution from everyone, Farah and Koro are the best so far, Ava had a few good runs as well as Buchannan. Lawrance and Ayshford are more active.
Just hope we continue with disciplined game, and good line speed.

Been very impressed with Jacob Miller so far. Good kick to the corner that lead to a try. Takes the line on and looks dangerous when he does so. Hopefully he follows through in the second half.

Still don't see the point of Anasta, he's more active than last week but sure we could get more out of another player
I hope we see more of Pettybourne in the 2nd half, Braith can keep the bench warm

No even a single drop ball yet (that I recall), touch wood.

But we know how the Tigers are if they have a significant lead coming into the second half, they tend to drop in intensity and allow the opposition to claw their way back into it.

Let's see how this 2013 Tigers side meets such a situation.
