Braden Burns is an out and out center who has been poorly used in first grade on the wing so far by Souths. Last night was his first game at center and he was one of the Bunnies best. Still unsigned for next year.

If he was playing for us, we’d be saying he only played well because he wants a contract.

Unlike so many people on here who have no patience, I am waiting keenly for the off season signing announcements.

I don’t know what these announcements are but the likes of Smoking Gun, the Pom or Jyrsker(?) seem to know that some good things are coming our way.

I’m cool with it. Just knowing that someone seems to know something that I don’t know is good enough. Fingers crossed that the announcements match the suspense.

Keep up the intrigue guys.

Not me, I have no inside info.

The ones with inside info that I've observed over the years - THE POM, white, Baze, Yossarian and smoking gun, to different levels.

The Wests board will tell us who we have signed, not some nameless trolls.

No good guessing and stressing about something over which we have no control.

Relax, be happy.

The Cowboys would be mad not to go for Barba if that's the case. Thurston retiring and Coote not being re-signed will give them cap space and a massive need for strike power.

Nathan is still waiting until after his birthday to make His mind up. Not folding to any pressure from Gus.

Think cows were/are desperate for Holmes. Barba would be a good pick up for them though.

Has Barba ever played centre? Would we have any interest?

He's never played centre in first grade as far as I know and I don't think he'd work there. I think he's an out and out fullback and we've just invested in Mbye to play there. I'd imagine Barba will go to a club that would be prepared to take him on as a fullback, which would come down to the Cowboys (no clear fullback for 2019), Raiders (Wighton - in trouble and a pretty rubbish fullback), Sharks (only if they lose Holmes), Titans (Gordon currently playing there but they just said no to Corey Norman on a "no peanut" basis so Barba unlikely), Rabbitohs (Alex Johnston hasn't cemented himself as a fullback yet) or Storm (Slater retiring and while Hughes looks promising Barba right now would offer more).
