TITANS CLEAN OUT

Post by Demps » Sun 02 Aug, 2015 11:10 am

Titans players fighting to save their careers include hooker Beau Falloon, Kalifa Fai Fai Loa, David Hala, Kevin Gordon, Daniel Mortimer and Matt Srama. Back-rower Ben Ridge is unwanted for next season, while former Maroons forward David Taylor has permission to negotiate with rival clubs.

Second-tier players such as Christian Hazard, Davin Crampton, Jamie Dowling, Jai Ingram and Chad Redman also face perform-or-perish scenarios as the Titans look to revitalise their roster.

Surely there will be a few more available from GC.

Any interest?

Hala has some experience, still young and you'd think fairly cheap, same with Kevin Gordon. We need a prop and a winger.

Kalifa Loa might be alright as well. Don't really know enough about the Titans players though.

Kevin Gordon would be handy - has plenty of speed and can find a tryline.
Sooner or later, next year has to be this year - Ricksen

Non of them interest me to be honest , Dave Taylor would but plays very inconsistent football and at times thinks his Cooper Cronk.
It depends who you talk to on this Forum, if you are Optimistic? it's because your delusional and need a reality check. If you are Pessimistic? Your accused of being a negative Nancy and to go and follow another Club.

Gordon would be a good pickup on the wing. The rest I'm not interested in.

Gordon would be a very good pick up.
As would Taylor for his experience if we can get him cheap and posaibly get him back to some decent form.

Even though he comes with more baggage than Mrs Howell took to Gilligan's Island I'd take a punt on Taylor at the right price.
If someone could tap into him and get him going every week he would be unstoppable.

Didnt Taylor sign him at Souths in 2009 before being punted?

Taylor would be an okay benchie for us.

Kalifa Fai Fai Loa I've always found underrated. He must be a poor trainer or something. Dude can finish. If we're looking for fringe first grade wingers though you can't go past Kyle Feldt at the Cowboys.

We don't need another slow winger. Besides there is plenty of talent in our U20s such as Jacobs, Sattherthwaite and co.

What are we just vultures that pick up the unwanted scraps from other clubs ? No thanks they are unwanted for a reason and no better then what we have.

Fai Fai Loa, Gordon and Srama could be handy. Srama is injured far too often though.

Fai Fai or Gordon for sure. Don't know if we can fit any of this under our salary cap but we need a replacement for Richards ASAP.
