I would let him back if
- the bulldogs paid half his salary
- he dropped his manager Isaac Moses. Last thing we want is that poisonous agent dealing with the club again.

I'd take Klemmer or Jackson.
I have family in Balmain and the Western suburbs so i guess that makes me a Balmain Westie

Didn't he ask IC last year about staying and was told no? I just recall seeing something along those lines on here somewhere.

I believe that he publicly said he was "tempted to stay". The Tigers also called a halt to the negotiations and withdrew the contracts as they said enough time was given to consider them.

Woods would be great to have back, at 600k or hopefully less (400K is my price point to sign him). I would prefer Taupau for the same money, more line impact and as big a frame.

I would take him back but at our price and Dogs $ input. Dogs not liking his "Sharon Personality"
Playing better than Matulino at the moment, he had to carry the forward pack for years, not just while Packer was injured

Yes this was written around the time he stated he didn’t know what was going on for 2018. It was obvious he wanted to stay. The word was Pascoe opened the door but Ivan shut it. BUT my source for this is this forum so???????!

Since the interviews he’s been fine, nothing but talking sbout Ivan and the tigers

Carried our pack for a while

Hate the way he left, but he would be an excellent acquisition if he was to come back

Have always said I felt sorry for Woods. I reckon it all got too much and he made a dumb decision - with the help of his slimey manager. I’d welcome him back

High profile players who left and want to come back can do just as much to attract other players as winning can.
I agree with this.
I can move on from the past, just part of being a fan, ride the highs and lows.
Don't particularly want him on big coin but after the lsst few weeks I think it's clear we're a prop short.

I agree with that...last thing the club wants is Moses influencing the club again

Bugger woods. what a low down act he carried out. I don't care if he'd add to our pack. Didn't he try to influence others to leave when captain of our club? Screw him.

Woods is just a hack this year, he was our captain but loved dishing the dirt on us when Klemmer sent him a valentines card and said they’d be together forever.
He still needs to return the section of skin from his butt the contains the Leichardt postcode! That is our ‘intellectual property’
Marty has more fire power and would complement Packer to a tee!

IMO Woods swayed by Klemmer, Dib, Hasler, Castle & the multi-million dollar Bulldogs Pokies Empire with all it's trappings.
Only Klemmer & the Pokies money tree remain.
Maybe Woodsy will retire soon & start his new career serving cappuccinos & Tim Tams in the Gaming Room.

I know players are different from supporters, but i reckon his stomach would be churning, watching us run out at Leichhardt tonight. Idk whether this is legit or not, but it would not surprise me. It's not that much of a stretch. The situation he is in now at the Dogs is the very reason he left us.

He's not a very intelligent guy, and i think last year he was easily lead. Probably had his manager, and his ex team mates feeding his ego, telling him he was above our club and went to his head. At the same time though, i think his mind was made up in 2015 or 16. Never expressed any intent in staying. I don't doubt for a second that he will see leaving us as the biggest mistake he made in his career when he hangs the boots up.
