Hayne being charged with rape at Ryde police station right now, will almost certainly be remanded in custody, so gaol tonight for him, and no club will touch him now
I’d be surprised if he was refused bail. Not a flight risk and doesn’t seem like community protection would require him to be in custody.
Channel 10 said, because court had closed today, he will be held in police cells
Go hard or go home

From smh article -
The Tigers have also set their sights on a centre and another aggressive forward.

Common sense prevails, sign of a coach that is able to focus on the blatantly obvious. If the smiling assassin was still in control we’d be using the final 2 positions to upgrade the cheer squad.
Now the wait to find out who the two players are.

Exactly what we are all wanting - a good centre and another aggressive forward. Let's hope they are good ones.

Reports that Danny Levi could be on his way, since Newcastle stated they wouldn't stand in the way of a release.

Surely he wouldn't take up one of the last 2 spots left. Sounds like someone is getting the tap.

Would hope for better, but you're probably right. Walker and a Burgess would be a better deal.

Agree. We need quality depth is there. We may have lost respect for Cleary but he has built a solid team not spectacular by any stretch but hopefully Madge gets us to the next level.

Sounds like he has a bit of an attitude problem going off of what knights fans are saying on their forum.

That really doesnt make sense for a denial of bail

Pezet said that would depend largely on whether Newcastle were successful in signing utility Kurt Mann from St George Illawarra.

Knights coach Nathan Brown believes Mann could be converted into an NRL-standard dummy-half, but first he would need to be released by the Dragons.

Didn't see that coming.

Then there's this - Barry works for the same outlet as the posted article.

Lets hope not - don't think his attitude would allow him to play reggies.
