it's good to have young players in the squad look at what Panthers have done this year and more to be signed

Quick update.

1. Robbie & Benji will play on in 2019 before taking off field roles in 2020.
2. Chris McQueen WONT be here in 2019
3. Segeyaro no longer on the cards
4. Clubs priority targets are back-up Halfback & outside backs
5. 2 more contracted players a chance of moving on, no body huge but depth looking thin.

Updated squad for 2019 below:

1. Luke Brooks
2. David Nofoaluma
3. Josh Reynolds
4. Ben Matulino
5. Russell Packer
6. Jacob Liddle
7. Mahe Fonua
8. Corey Thompson
9. Josh Aloiai
10. Tyson Gamble
11. Michael Chee Kam
12. Alex Twal
13. Esan Marsters
14. Chris Lawrence
15. Elijah Taylor
16. Matt Esienhuth
17. Robbie Rochow
18. Moses Mbye
19. Oliver Clark
20. Luke Garner
21. Sam McIntyre
22. Thomas Mikhaele
23. Dylan Smith
24. Robbie Farah
25. Benji Marshall
26. ?
27. ?
28. ?
29. ?

Is there a contract in discussion for Luke Brooks on the table post 2019?

I'd hazard a guess that some names we'll be talking to would include Daniel Tupou, Ryan Matterson and Taupau

Tupou might stay at Roosters now after Ryan Hall did his ACL

Thanks Pom.

We have the option of bringing Drinkwater back don’t we?
Are the two other contracted players we may release Rochow and Gamble?

I think you may be right there. If anyone is going to be moved on its those 2.

I wouldnt be surprised if Elijah Taylor got a tap on the shoulder as well.
Its an opinion!

As one of our best forwards, I would be very surprised if ET was moved on.

Thanks Pom, for your info - it is much appreciated and eases the ticker a bit.

Hugely disappointing! Seems like we're not chasing anyone of note, losing forwards right, left and centre, but only prioritising a centre and a back up half. And Drinkwater? Seriously? Circa 2015

One of our best is debatable but he is still useful no doubt. To me its more about squad building and looking to the future. As it stands now we can cover his spot with who we already have. Moving him on would help bring in a decent prop.
Its an opinion!

Gamble would have to be o e of the ones moving on. Signing Benji would indicate that the coaches don’t have faith in him to do a job.

I think Pom has hinted at a big name signing and things will make sense once announced.

Lets see what happens once the finals are over.
Its an opinion!

We have money to spend and are travelling ok on the field and off the field just thought we would have secured at least one FGer at this point, as other clubs have done.

By playing on Benji and Robbie will both hit 300 games next year.
