Wrong...as usual..
So how does Jacob learn what works and what doesn't work playing in a lower division of football Geo ??

All he sees is what he was doing works in ISP , and thinks it will work at NRL level

As for bringing a former player in that the club wanted nothing to do with 18 months ago to replace him must be soul destroying , he hasn't had a fair shot fully fit for any length of time , trying to build combinations with different halves combos

If Cleary had any faith in Liddle he shows he has every confidence in him and plays him all year

IC has this one wrong , funny he showed the faith in the juniors at both Penrith and NZ when he cleaned out there squads ...., but won't do it here .....
I was told by the club at a function in recent times they want to extend Liddles contract and he is the long term hooker.
It’s not his fault or Ivan’s his had both shoulders re constructed and a sternum injury. Cleary is looking after the kid as we played Giant Physical packs also Sharks and Raiders. Farah is needed he is defensively strong and provides an attackkbg threat and decent service from hooker.

I can see Robbie being extended another year with Benji.
and if Liddle feels ready for 1st grade, that will probably push him out.
Hopefully. He is fragile that is the issue.
Long way away from a first grade hooker and if he can’t stay on the field he won’t realise his potential. Robbie is a good mentor will be great for Liddle.

Next to no chance of Kelly now with Uate doing his ankle tonight. Manly will be lucky to field a side.

Does Jackson Hastings practice voodoo?

That’s how we will line up in the backline next week, The nof is back!
Will Marsters back up after the trip back from Denver?
He should hopefully

Whatever happened to Gideon Gela Mosby? Watched him a couple of times last year and thought he could be a good prospect for us. Though he's a small guy, he went great against the Dragons last year when the Cowboys almost pulled off a comeback.

Just wondering why I haven't seen him in the NRL.
Another 20s star who doesn’t have the discipline to make it as a regular NRL player
Thanks.

That's a real pity as he seems like a JAC clone.

I know they say there's no substitute for speed but I'm still waiting to see someone similar to Taniela Tuiaki. I might be a bit biased, but I've never seen a winger of the same calibre. Though he's never talked about in the NRL, he's one player I'll never forget.

Fanua on the wing would be close.

Justin O’neil?

Off contract and is your perfect centre type

Former SOO player too

Thoughts?

Hasn't been great this year and he has been the whipping boy for the cowboys supporters.

If he found form he would be good but it would be a risk.

Why not, we need a bit of experience in the backline and at 190cm adds a bit of height aswell. Would like to see us sign a good young centre aswell

He was sensational in the Cowboys game at Leichhardt. I wish he’d bloody wind up cos the guy looks so hard to contain.

Just rewatching the NZvENG and must say Esan Marsters played well. Has been a revelation for us. Before last year I’d only ever heard of him in the forum, so was excited when I first saw him in the rep game for Cook Islands. I vaguely remember articles on Tigers securing a player in such high demand and think he was also in an article (I definately remember Twal was in it - for Parra) about Players to Watch in 2017.

Was there any truth to the rumours McGillvary was looking to come to the NRL? Though I’m sure Broncos or raiders would have first dibs on ESL players

Maybe with the ball in hand. We'd all have palpitations every time the opposition kicked to him.

Absolutely not. He has been abysmal. In defence and attack. I heard a stat once that off the last 8 touches he had over a couple of games he made 6 mistakes. He misses over 5 tackles a game. Should be dropped from cowboys side months ago.

What’s the go with Felise and Garner. Must be decent if they played NSW residents. Could Garner play first grade? I haven’t seen him play

Not in the 1st grade squad so won’t get a run this year. Good player so will probably get a shot somewhere.

Sironen was in the team as well but he is off to Souths apparently. Surely we can retain Felise and Garner?

God no.
Can honestly say he’d be worse than MWZ.
