Who would have thought last year that a kid who had played 2 part games of NYC would have been our starting centre this, Moses Suli.
Stranger things have happened before and might happen again, you never know what Ivan has planned.
He might pull that ace out from his sleeve, look at all the players he gave a chance to this year, even if it was after we had no chance of making the finals.
In Ivan we trust.

Exactly, and he doesn't have to show much too get in front of Brooks in the pecking order, plus he is a decent goal kicker, good luck mate hope you slay it.

QLD cup to the NRL is a massive jump, okay not as big as jump as reserve grade, but still a big jump. I doubt barring injuries we will see him in the top grade for a while. Although I do agree he looks like a kid who could make the grade
Benji went from school to first grade!!! He did ok.

Like Gamble has done consistently, if he gets an opportunity he will take it and make it is his own. After watching him in Brisbane I rate him highly.

You sure he's playing wt00, he's not listed in the 17. If your watching and he is playing, how is he going ?

Seriously he was best on ground in the first 20 odd minutes and in this second half he hasn't looked up to this level. Going on this he looks a reserve grader at best.

Final verdict.

I think his main issue is fitness. I am not sure if it's usually the case but he appeared gassed early on and it affected his involvement levels. All Redcliffe's attacking moments either came from him or Lodge.

For a 6 he is a big boy. He was taking hitups and pushing defenders back like a forward. He is a good defender in the line as well and appears capable of putting on a shot. Despite his size he has the speed to accelerate into gaps and appears to have a decent pass on him though his decision making at times is poor.

He kicked a goal from the sideline that was rising as it was going through the posts, got a couple of repeat sets but also shanked an attacking bomb so badly I would say it went about 30 metres over the sideline.

Has a ton of talent but needs a lot of work on his body and mind. He is a very good project player. I would not expect him to play NRL in 2018 in the halves though he could push for the fullback spot if they see him as a fullback. He should be given the NSW cup fullback jersey imo as he looks more like an NRL fullback than a six.

Pretty much. His game fell apart as he tired and Redcliffe fell behind.

With his build and speed he could play centre as many former halves such as Laurie Daley have done to start their careers.
