If sign Cleary for 1m per season if Reynolds could be moved on otherwise it’s overlaoding the cap in the halves. We’d be cactus with a weak pack and unable to sign Brooks, Liddle, Marsters to new deals.

Don’t watch channel 9 and fox always goes straight to Ennis and co., but saw this online. I know it was annoying all the Ivan and Nathan speculation but this pretty much pulls at the heartstrings

Brooks for 600k. Invest the extra funds that would be used for NC on a powerful forward imo
We won't be getting him for that again.
I agree, it'll be 700k or just over it I was to guess.
I’m sure Brooks signed for 400k - basically he was the last man standing in the so-called BIG 4 and playing terrible back then.. in any case he lifted significantly this year and can build on that now - give him 750k at least, chuck in a Block Monopoly game for Luke and he may well end up with an apartment in St Kilda to boot!
We have cut so many players so we have plenty in the coffers...

So where you want to play now son. Do you want to play second fiddle to maloney or own a team here.

It's a no brainer isn't it. We need some forwards like Kikau and backs like Waqa Blake. We would be a lot better team with either of those two in our team than with NC.

NC is a quality player no doubt but gee i would like to see Brooks running game behind a pack like the panthers

Think Brooks would've carved the shark's up in that 2nd half yet Cleary has no real impact at all
Yep...me too....NC isnt what we need...we need powerful forwards and speeeeed out wide
We do need some powerful forwards

And NC? Maybe, maybe not

I'm just a bit worried though with some rumours of late that now the panthers are out we may name Merrin or Tamau as signings

I don'tthink they are the forwards we need

Kikau yes but that's not going to happen
Kikau and David Fifita in the second row would be a dream! However, at this stage I'd settle for Tamou up front and Hetherington in the backrow, alongside Matterson to bolster our pack.

Keep Brooks and spend Cleary's money on a forward.

Id still take Nathan. Gould and Ivan have placed a ridiculous amount of pressure on the kid with all the talk and media focus the last couple of months.

Once the dust settles he will keep improving.
Its an opinion!

I don't think it was all on young Cleary, it was Maloney that had the shocker.

I agree hank, Maloney did nothing, Nathan was the one who got the Panthers back into the game.

Late in the game he kept trying to take on the forward, running fast and straight. It was a very good sign. Players that arent up to it run sideways and go away from their game.
Its an opinion!

I’d go 750k-800k
That is what he would stay for i would think he would get more if he leaves for another club.Hopefully he stays loyal

Gallen played Maloney for a fool. Got under his skin during the week and it showed last night. Was off the boil big time.

Had as many runs as anyone in his pack. Kept bossing his forwards where he wanted them. That's what we need. Someone who won't give up even when the game looks lost.
