Brooks can play 6 and Nathan 7 with Grubby at 9?? Cause Brooks is more of a running half.
Then you are going to tell me - Reynolds is as good a DH as Liddle, right?

I think we would all love to see something like that, but will the salary cap stretch that far. Brook's price will near double come next contract. It will be all about getting the right balance. Although who knows if JR's body will hold up another couple of years. Ideally come 2020...no1 MM no6 brooks no7 cleary no9 Liddle no14 Reynolds
Closer to the mark I think Supercoach.

Just wish Brooks could show any sort of consistency like Nathan

A good half needs a decent set of pigs to work off which is something we dont have yet

He’s not as good a DH, he’s vastly superior.

And you're basing this on the twice he's played hooker in his professional career are you?

It's hardly a fair comparison - Brooks isn't playing behind the Panthers pack or alongside Maloney and Cleary might look a damn sight different running around each week in our squad!

Spot on ... Brooks never has played behind a dominant pack or in fact had a first class 5/8 beside him ... comparisons can be a thin blue line at times.

First kick went out on the full ....

But it went consistently out on the full because after that we got a penalty and kicked it out 8-)

Brooks has shown plenty this year.
His defence is a 10
Kicking game has improved
Running game is coming back
And he’s got a different spine every week.
The consistency is lacking in the positions around him, It makes it hard to build combinations and be consistent.

Brooks kicking game and ending sets is not consistant for the 80 which hurts the team. Benji was a help in that depaertment. Brooks struggles big time there. Did it well the first halg against sharks and capitulated in the second half.

Also note brooks does not have the forward pack of panthers tho

Yeah that’s true but who else in the side had a kicking game that takes the pressure of brooks when benji’s not there.

True. Put his inside kick to the val try could of easly been kicked into touch or corner. Theres less of that from nathan his a consistant and smarter footballer.

Yeah but the kick was actually good, found open grass just no one chasing, Poor D didn’t help either.
I’m not saying he’s Nathan Cleary but he has more challenges to face every week than what Nath has, coming from behind or always within a 4-6 margin is a lot more pressure than being up by 10-16 points.
If brooks had Maloney next to him I don’t think he’d too far from Cleary.
