Russell is inconsistent about those who leave the Club. Beetson is always a hero though he deserted the Club for more money, whereas my hero had to be jack-hammered off but is persona non gratia. Lovett falls into the same category. (I don't blame Artie btw)

I am glad that Lovett can at least still get a job decently paid.
Malcolm Knox: What has happened this week is a pity for the Tigers, a pity for Jason Taylor and a pity for Robbie Farah, who had achieved more than the Big Four put together but was somehow turned into collateral damage. (SMH 25-26 March, 2017)

Good on him for getting another gig, but the fact that he's had to sign on with a team in the english second division says it all really.
Year of last finals appearance:
2018 - Storm, Roosters, Rabbitohs, Sharks, Panthers, Broncos, Dragons, Warriors
2017 - Eels, Sea Eagles, Cowboys
2016 - Raiders, Bulldogs, Titans
2013 - Knights
2011 - Tigers

Just did not have sufficient umpf to make it consistently at the 1st grade NRL level.
He will do ok in ESL .... good luck to him.
