With positions open and substantial cash on offer, WTs are in a strong position. With their established backs plus Moylan and the pick up from Souths, there is a log jam.

The hot chips are gone. The seagulls can fly away now.

It’s called “ just plain old fun” ..... at my age this tends to be better than “that other thing I used to look forward to”.

God damn it
Don't sweat it Milky. Let's be honest, as others have already mentioned, on a personal level Barba doesn't fit the mould of the club and the direction Cleary is taking us in. It also contradicts Lolohea training at fullback all offseason while Reynolds and Brooks plus Benji are going to be fighting it out in the halves.

We have some cash up our sleeves, and if the club is smart they prioritise a couple of positions where we still may be lacking:

1) A world class forward, preferably a backrower
2) Fullback - ala RTS given Tui is a bit of an unknown
3) Halfback if Brooks fails to deliver this year

It may not necessarily be in that order, but it makes more sense than Barba.

It is 100% not Ben Barba or any player at this stage. Been confirmed by multiple sources. Ben Barba goes against the type of culture being built & would be seen as a negative for the club.
It is ben barba.

Wouldn't expect to see barba before mod season if released by St. Helens/a financial transfer fee is agreed upon and NRL approve his return. Just sit and wait

There’s no way we would be paying St. Helens a transfer fee. I’m not at all convinced that we’re after Barba

Ben Barba WILL NOT be joining the Tigers ! Considering one source described him The King Of Cocaine. They all believe he’s a massive step backwards & RTS is the priority. Don’t need 2 top line fullbacks. If Barba did join I will gladly reveal all !

Nothing that will be announced as early as he’s saying. Early talks with RTS very positive. We don’t need to sign a 29th player before March 1 as we still have a very small portion of Curtis Sironens contract for this year in our books so that can count as our player for the time being.

Funnily enough yes & considering I spoke with him just over an hour ago & re-assured we wouldn’t be signing him due to the no peanut policy.
