I hope he goes well. Big lump of a lad.

Is there no highlights reel?

The critics seem to have watched a lot of the Panthers reserve grade side.

Where? Why?

beacuase we have a few here who have a very big soft spot for the Riff boys :?
So they actually go and watch Penriths reserve grade.

Soft spot indeed.

I haven't been impressed with what I've seen from him this year in reserves. However, his junior rep honours can't be ignored:

Rep. Honours: NSW U/20's (2015-16), NSW U/18's (2013), NSW U/16's (2012)

And he was NYC team of the year in 2016 alongside Twal and Ponga.

Most players with rep honours like that end up being good first graders at a minimum. I'd give him a chance before calling him a plodder.
Isn’t that Mitchell Moses’ resume

Moses didn’t make all of these teams, and last time I checked he was playing first grade.

I rate him higher than Tyson Gamble.

My opinion so far is Cleary gets pretty good mileage out of most of his recruits / promotions, especially the unheralded ones, so I'll continue to back him on these backup-type signings.

Of course Gould isn't going to come out and say we're glad we got rid of some deadwood...

A lot of fluff from Gus. Who says he can play big mins? Averages 30-38 mins for Panthers in ISP. Felise played far far more than that. Work rate? 6 hitups a game? Defence? 20 tackles? There's no evidence to backup any of his comments.

Hopefully he can regather his form from his junior days and get rid of his 'marshmallow' reputation from the Panthers trainers.

I've never seen him play but from the comments on here I'm worried we have another Jack Buchanan on the books

I wouldn't worry too much. I don't think that the people who are dumping on him have seen him play either.

Cleary would be a much better judge of talent than most of us as well so i guess we really should give him some time to settle in
