As has been mentioned i think Fitler let the cat out of the bag last night.

People have been trying to point out the issues with this whole mess and that we might not be out of the woods just yet. Perhaps its time they were listened to.
OK
Wests Tigers don't need a Coach.. The playing group has taken over..

My personal opinion is i think in the off season he will be gone. The suggestion that the Panthers out manoeuvred us on this whole scenario is far fetched im not sure what else the club was meant to do. If the club came out and started talking compensation from the get go they would have been dragged across the coals.
I think once the dust settles we will get some form of compensation in the off season and we will be back at square one, IC will get next to no flack because it will all be about reuniting with his son.
There's far too much innuendo going around about this situation despite Ivans statement, it seems many didnt find it overly believing.

I’d be very surprised if Cleary is not released by November. I think it’s more than likely Our management was out manoeuvred by Penrith. I hope he stays but it’s unlikely in my view. It’s probably all denial stuff until the season finishes.
Unfortunately I agree with you on this as it would of been put to bed properly by actually talking to the media.

My main concern is that this happens after season and we miss out on a good coach and have to start all over again..

My Choice would be Michael M or Wayne Bennett (Only if Ivan leaves )
The clubs management will know if Cleary leaving is correct or not. They'll be talking to coaches now.
I would imagine that Pascoe would have a good idea of Ivan's intentions just from the tense he uses in conversing about future options. Just as Farah said something about the way Ivan was talking sounded like he's going to be here next year. Pascoe and Ivan would presumably be talking about hiring Nathan, or not, as the case may be.

What will happen will happen.

What i really care about however is that the club is aware of the situation and is diligent in searching for a plan B.
If they DID start looking for back-up, it would be in the press the same day. Just stick to our guns. There isn't a better coach available.

The reality of this is no one from the tigers is talking about this from the get go. Most media stoped talking as they can’t get a story out of us. I reckon we have done well and we will see what happens in the off season. Recruitment is probably as good a guide of intentions as anything at the moment.

That's because our colleagues on here are very good at: "connecting the dots"; "reading between the lines"; and, "smelling smoke and assuming there is a fire" !

Story will pick up again once season is over.
Whatever happens so be it or as our former captain would say.. It is what it is.

Other suggested disaster scenarios to fill your time with.
Tigers getting relocated to Perth
Brooks courting himself around to find another club
Liddles progress being held back by Robbie and wants out
Pascoe planted by the panthers to ruin the club from the inside
The other 15 clubs with coaches eventually coming off contract and the impact this will have to retention holisticly
Esan masters agreeing to terms with the roosters despite just resigning
And on and on and on

But this one here has lost its gloss

Last night at end of the footy show Freddy slipped into a sentence “when Ivan joins the Panthers next year” then kind of paused and tried to imply he meant “if”... hope it’s nothing but it didn’t seem like he was trying to make a joke, more a slip of the tongue. I assume he is very tight with Gus and privy to what he knows. Make of it what you will.
He did say something along the lines of "when he goes to the Panthers" but not sure he said "next year".

Freddy would likely be in the know, just depends on whether he meant next year or further into the future...

WTs don’t want to talk about it potentially so that our season isn’t derailed. Once we are a definite non starter for the finals, more might come out.
I would like Ivan to stay but as long as the team is left in good nick, especially recruitment wise for 2019, we will continue to prosper hopefully. Front office seems sound and that’s where it starts.

Some fans here must be very wealthy: lotto, casino or share market must be a peace of cake for them so they moved to predicting WT future, they can read faces, hear a few syllables or read between the lines, and reveal to plebs what that mean and what will happen, no ifs or buts🤗
However, not too many comment on the game itself that must be below their devine interest 😂
Please explain 👌
