If we are going to sign him up for another 3 seasons lets go get him a good 5/8 partner hey. He cant do it all himself.
I am confident that Reynolds will come good in that department.

The Souths' halfback improved remarkably under Seibold.

Me too, i think he is our best option.

Not sure if he will be here in 2 or 3 years however.
Its an opinion!

Looking at some of our new development recruits may help us out in that department.
I am just glad that we have got through all this with one of the (two) of the best coaches currently available.
Could have turned out much worse ..... here’s hoping that we score some more positives on the recruitment front. And would be keen to find out whether our early release of Cleary resulted in any benefits. Probably all under some sort of “no release to public” agreement between the two clubs.

Possibility that the new coach might have the pull to bring in a couple of recruits as well.

Ill be happy when Cleary is just the Penrith coach. Time for us to move on.

Much better for his "brand" if he stays. Apart from Tedesco I'd say the other two have a greatly reduced market value endorsement wise. Better to be a big fish.

Agree but a couple of powerful forwards first I reckon

Yes absolutely. I said 5/8 but you are right. Get the pack right first. As long as we make sure we have someone who is ready for 2020 or 2021 to help Brooks.

Hopefully Madden or Taulau are ready by that point to partner him. Reynolds will do his bit.

Wasn’t he signed on a 4 year deal?

Roosters interested in Brooks.... Apparently very keen to link up with Teddy. Both have same player manager. Where there’s smoke there’s fire.

Nathan Cleary was never going anywhere else. Granted Penrith are a top 8 side, but what was stopping him from signing with Easts in 2020?

What is to say that Brooks won't do the same?

Yes, here we go again. Benefit of the doubt. Just like we did with Ivan. Nothing official yet. I’m sure it’s just the media beating it up. After all , why would he join the Roosters? Just because Teddy won a minor premiership and then the major premiership along with the Arthur Beetson player of the year, also then won a state of origin series and to top it off an Australian jersey. I think your right ! I’m sure Luke will stay with us.

No need to be a twat about it. Everyone is talking like he has already gone.

I concede it would be very alluring to go to Easts for Brooks, we're kidding ourselves if we think that Easts haven't already been talking to him. Brooks turned down advances from Melbourne to stay here last time.

Twat ? The only twats on here are the delusional nuffies who get involved in over 200 pages of diatribe regarding Ivan and his odd looking son, which in the end was all to no avail. Saying that Luke knocked back advances from Melbourne who are miles away in bleak city is totally different to joining a club that is with-in walking distance, which has your best mate (Teddy ) playing there. Not to mention all the caffe lattes they will be enjoying together as they watch the scantily clad females walking by down Coogee Bay Rd.

About Luke being offered a job from Melbourne I think that was just his manager cranking it up - don't fall for it.
