Matterson is our best signing in years. Young, big, mobile, good defender can pass and kick. He’s as good on an edge or lock. I’d have him at lock ET likely misses out. If MCK can improve again our backrower last will look good for next year. Lawrence, Matterson, MCK/ET. Not a bad rotation.
What about Garner? He looks to be a real chance for 2019.
Looked good for a winger/centre conversion will only get better. Matterson much more athletic and powerful.

Well, based on this year's form, if Chris is kept out of the side next year, WT edges would be as good as in any in the comp.

He looks okay but still a long way to go. He needs to bulk up to around 100kgs to get a fulltime gig and make an Impact.

Lock, lock, someone can play lock! Don't want Taylor there next year.

If I was to guess I'd say that garner will be coming off the bench next season with rowdy and Matto starting. ET will remain at lock imo
No more plodders!

Lawrence isnt going anywhere. you add the Mattersons to the Lawrences not add the Mattersons to the nufties.
Its an opinion!

Still think Taylor at lock is a weakness. Locks these days are generally big guys who can do some damage, think Taumalolo, Tapau, Frizell/De Belin etc.

Given that matterson is good mates with aloiai I wonder if it was our community work that got him over the line.

I think that they will go with Sean O’Sullivan at half Keary at 5/8.
Hope the Storm put 50 on them.

Agree, Taylor to the bench as a versatile forward should be his only position next year.
