Coach is taking my advice from the forum and swapping Liddle for Lichaa.
Knows he can take over when Farah retires and is ready for 80 / 26 rounds.
Unlike our boy Jacob.
Then we need a new coach - Liddle is twice the player Lichaa is, even at the moment.

Or will ever be for that matter

Are you Lichaa's relative or something?.

Not a chance we'd be letting Liddle go. The club has earmarked him as future hooker, just as Farah was when he had all his shoulder injuries when he was young. Same with Benji.

I'd let madge see how he goes in preseason, and then possibly even look to extend his contract by a year or two already if he's looking good. Not on big money. Might be able to get a bargain for a few years. Lidz won't want to sign long term without proving his value, but he'd definitely be worth locking up for a bit longer in ths short term

Telegraph now reporting that the Tigers are interested in Danny Levi. This is insane. Unless they have undisclosed information that Liddle is a crock there is absolutely no way they should be casting about to replace him, especially with dross like Levi. Maybe Maguire is trying to get rid of Farah?

Maybe they want him as a backup after Farah is gone? That would sound good to me.

How does Levi stand in comparison to last season's back-up in Godinet and Taylor? I don't think we can rely on Farah lasting whole season and the cupboard is bare after that. Taylor was not a success and I don't think we can count on Reynolds doing any better as a stand in hooker beyond some emergency in a game.

I think we can rely on Farah being a good slot in option. If we allow Farah some game time and gradually slot in Liddle we should be right.
Unless McGuire has seen something fantastic in Levi (and he may have as NZ coach!) we should keep our current pairing.
Taylor can't be hooker again but Godinet is a good 3rd reserve.

+1, if McGuire signs Lichaa we should look at a new Coach.
Why?
Our spine would be
Lichaa, Brooks, Reynolds, Mbye.
Bulldogs 14th place spine:
Lichaa, Frawney/Marshall(jnr)??, Reynolds, Mbye (and other combinations.).

It was hopeless for the dogs. In fact you can track the dogs going from top to bottom 8 by Lichaa's signing. The dogs biggest mistake was punting Ennis who actually did a great job with the team.

Geo, we are all allowed one soft spot. Russ' is Liddle and it is understandable. who didn't admire Hazem's talent etc etc
Malcolm Knox: What has happened this week is a pity for the Tigers, a pity for Jason Taylor and a pity for Robbie Farah, who had achieved more than the Big Four put together but was somehow turned into collateral damage. (SMH 25-26 March, 2017)

Godinet is gone, so Levi could be 3rd reserve, possible 2nd for next year.
