Attn - Grant Mayer - Wests Tigers require a exemption for the 2nd Tier Salary Cap as we have reportedly a kick-ass half back that need to get a taste of 1st grade. Please comply.

Dear Grant Mayer.

The NRL would be pleased to grant Wests Tigers an exemption to the Salary Cap to include Luke Brooks, Mitchell Moses and any other talent the Tigers wish to include in this hail mary attempt to scrape into the top 8. The provision for salary cap exemptions exists primarily to allow struggling clubs to include mid season supersubs, particularly if their original halves pairings turn out to be rubbish. You have the administration's blessing in throwing as much money as you like at a new halfback each week.

Do pass on our regards to Jacob Miller.

Yours Faithfully.

Dave Smith
NRL CEO

GIVE YOURSELVES AN UPPERCUT ...Brooks will get his chance .throwing him into the cauldron against the big warriors pack would be football suicide. Benji hasn't let our club down and deserves to play out the rest of the year with us .gee some people have short memories ,, benji si a wests tigers LEGEND .

Whilst I am critical of Benji's decision to reneg on the final two years of his contract, and believe he has been very poorly advised based on what I have heard over the past week, he has certainly earned the right to finish up on his terms. I hope he plays well for the last month and a half of the comp.

But, what happens if he gets a serious injury? Are we responsible for his rehabilitation if he has asked us for the release?
