Spence and Ava

Post by Eddie » Fri 09 Aug, 2013 10:24 pm

Bare in mind i watched the game on a dodgy stream. However they really got the ball over the advantage line tonight. I know it is another black night but getting bored of talking about the usual suspects letting us down. Well done to these 2 players on strong performances, looked up for it.

Spence has been good in all but one game. I never understood the hate.

He dented the line tonight. I don't think he really did that in previous games. He got over the advantage line.

He was very good in his first game and afterwards was used in such small spurts it was difficult to judge him. But always given his all. His only poor game was the one he started.

I feel sorry for these young blokes giving it their all each week - Ava, Spence, Sue, Nofo, Simona etc. It must be demoralizing playing so well, yet losing all the time. Hope it doesn't shatter their confidence for next year.

Tonight was the first time he's looked like a first grader, he played well and made an impact.

He is out the door at the end of the year yet still put in and gave his all, shame some others just don't give a stuff.

People expect rookies on debut to play like seasoned first graders.

The rookie cops a few knocks and struggles in a few game in a s*** team surrounded by s*** players, and after 2 or 3 outings ''he's crap''...no good..
