Pick the Score

Unread post by Knuckles » Tue 08 Apr, 2014 7:43 pm

At the start of the year I tipped big things for the Cowboys. So if we can beat them, the year maybe shaping up better than I expected. But I think the cowboys will be very hard to beat ... Too many experienced class players.

So I will continue to do my bit for the club and tip against them once again.

North Qld 26
Wests 18

I wanna give them a chance to prove they can win without Tedesco. Not that i don't think they can, but its a big loss.

I'll say 20-18 us.

Not sure about this one. Not as confident as I was for the Manly game. However, if Simona plays - WT 22 Nth Qld 20. If he's out..... well, let's hope he's good to go!

I can see a pattern emerging. We'll blow them out of the water early on, depends how many points we rack up before the referees attempt to even up the game and completely flip the momentum on us whether or not we win. With Tedesco out I'm less confident we'll score plenty so...

Tigers lead 18-6 at half time.

Full time Tigers 24-22.

Tigers 24 ( Austin Rowe Gavet Taupau tries Richards 4/4 ) v Cowbees 19 (Tate Tamaulolo Morgan tries Thurston 3/3 Thurston field goal )

FTS Tate
LTS Austin

HT 12-6 Cowboys

Crowd 17143

Madhouse last 15 minutes Cowboys score through Jason "James" Taumalolo to lead 18-6 and the Tigers look to have run their race

Richards kicks off from the restart Morgan drops the ball straight into the arms of Gavet who scores untouched 18-12 Cowboys

Tigers receive the ball from the kick off and on the fourth play try the outside in to a flying Simona who splits them and finds a flying Rowe who scores and Richards converts for 18-18

After some more crazy sets , Cowboys get a penalty with three minutes 38 seconds left and set for a field goal which Thurston kicks 19-18 Cowboys

The Cowboys complete their last set from the kick off and the Tigers have 90 metres to go with 75 seconds left

After three terrific hit ups the Tigers are 55 metres out Farah goes to Blair , Blair hits the 2nd man in Rowe who turns Rowdy inside who makes a half break and finds Brooks in support , who seems to be running into a dead end when he finds Richards who puts an inside out banana kick which sits up on its end and is tapped back by Nofoaluma as the fullback hits him as a flying Blake "Shake and Bake "Austin flies past to score the try of the season so far and Austin scores under the post

Ref goes upstairs and says no try as he believes Nofoaluma is offside but is proven wrong by the barest of margins

TRY awarded with 8 seconds left on the clock

Richards converts amid tremendous celebrations by the fans as they storm the field to praise their heroes

Quietly shocked by that

Have had a bad feeling about this game, I think two of our spine changing will be the difference. Teddy is irreplaceable the way he's been playing imo and is going to affect our attack too much.
Lui worries me, he was toying with the defense last week. JT is due as well. Where going to have to be as good as last week which we are yet to prove this year. I don't count the titans game they were woeful.
