Richards is a great defensive winger, whilst Lawrence did a good job marking Lyon last week, I think they'll be fine.

Will be interesting to see who comes in, especially with state cup having played yesterday.

Did anyone drop out of the game yesterday?
Only player to drop out of NSW Cup game was Bullock

falling like flies before this game, let's hope we can put up a good fight and give ourselves a 50/50 chance to win but most importantly come out the other side with no injuries. need to start getting troops back soonish else we'll be left in a similar position to last year if more are injured.
I heard about it yesterday and Bulldogs Richie confirmed on radio this morning

I assume Anasta will play 2RF with Austin 5/8, as BMM played NSW Cup yesterday

Richards is not a great defensive winger. Has constantly been caught out this year in defense. Its actualluy surprised me how poor is defense has been this year.

Losing Fulton has me concerned

Talk of playing Anasta in the back row has me even more concerned

Happy to see Austin given another go. Gives us an attacking option with Robbie out

although it's good to see austin there, i think brooks missed anasta and putting braith in the 2nd row turned out very poorly last year.

i hope that's not what mick is doing.

NO NO NO! NO ANASTA IN SECOND ROW! He is doing OK at 5/8, we don't need to mess with arguably the best forward pack in the comp, Akoula to start and BMM on the bench.

I would start Akaoula in the backrow. Keep Austin fresh for impact based on how the game unfolds.

awesome, exactly what i would have done with fulton out.

Doesn't really compromise our 2nd row at any given time (maybe a bit more tired, but austin can play there if needed) and rewards blake for his efforts last week while keeping the anasta/brooks combo going.

True. Anasta has been good at 5/8 but 2nd row/lock is where he belongs anyway

We will play them in the forwards. The forwards go ahead, our backs will have room to move.Luani and Rowe will show, they can do the job. Everyone play their game and our backs will come to their own, no fear.
