Bodene Thompson

He had a really good game tonight. Played big minutes and did everything needed to fill in for Fulton. Great game in defence and did some really good things in attack.

For an unfashionable player he's becoming a vital part of our pack.

Been great all year. Has become an integral part of our forward pack. Turning into our Beau Scott.

He has been immense all year and tonight was his best game since Melbourne last year. Keep it up mate, you are playing like a champion.

He's very solid. Reminds me of a more powerful Heighno.

I, like many, was stumped at his starting gig from the get-go. Trust in Potter!

Definitely deserves a contract extension. Does his job and has done it well every week this year. I don't think he would have a big asking price either.

The improvement in our backrow this season has been one of the reasons for our resurgence, and dominance of almost every pack we've run up against. Thompson has improved 100% on last year, as has Blair. Throw in the reliability of Fulton and impact of Akauola, Sue, Gavet...

Agree with all that. I thought our backrow would be our weak point this year, it's actually been one of our strongest positions and a lot of that is due to bodene.

And theres a certain chap by the name of Curtis Sironen to throw into the mix aswell in about round 12.You dont think Curtis might be just a little pumped up with all this success as he sits on the sideline. He will kill it when he returns playing in this big mean pack. :righton: :righton: :righton:

Bodene Thompson has been a real rock for the team this year...many criticised Potter for selecting Thompson in the team, Potter said Thompson trained the house down during preseason and deserved his spot and Potter was right.

Thompson has been very good for us this year so far this year!.

Has consistently played well since arriving at the club. One of our best last year.
