Re: Akauola
I remember watching him play last year and wondering why he didn't play more often, he's always impressed but he was just outstanding today.

He had an impressive game today, I like what I see mongrel but I see that in all of our pack and bench this year, kapow was really effective also.
I'd take him over Fulton any day of the week.GNR4LIFE wrote:He went okay i thought. The flick that put Richards away was a gem, but i think he'll be the player that makes way for Fulton.

Potters going to have some great headaches by Round 12
Props Woods ,Keefy ,Taupau ,Ava ,Gavet ,Brown and Buchanan
Backrowers Blair ,Thompson ,Fulton , Sue ,Akaoula, Sironen, Halatau
We need 9 players for the entire side including bench and we have 14
And after Austin's performance you wouldn't want to leave him off the bench either he added some spark

He had his best game and had plenty of moments of brilliance.
However, before we quickly jump to saying who he is better than you have to put it in perspective.
Our left edge got carved up, he got found out assisting Brooks at times and it really shows how much we missed Fulton.
He also enjoyed being marked by Sandow all night so was incredibly effective running the ball.
Otherwise he was a machine and its so good to see another forward running hard onto the ball and bending the line.
It all seems so simple, but why we haven't been able to have a pack do this for the past 7 years is baffling.
